And I noticed the plane wasn't vertical, on a peculiar incline, and however everyone could walk in the central aisle of the plane, a DC-8. One day, near Paris, I saw an airliner flying at full speed above the buildings where I lived. I had only two seconds and a half to see the plane before it disappeared. It was from an error of the screw, I read it some years after in the Readers' Digest. That had been very near of a disaster, 50 meters beneath that would had been the crash.
