As a Miami fan, I LOVE that no one is picking us to win! Always overlooked but this will be the toughest test for the Celtics. Their defense won’t be as effective as it was against the Nets or Bucks because there isn’t one central guy that you can just throw 5-6 different bodies at throughout the game. Miami is the deepest team in the playoffs and the best coach imo

That's not how the Celtic defense works, their defense isn't good because they can lock down one guy with multiple defenders. What you saw from the first two series was a modification. Celtics primarily defend 1v1, switch everything, and use Rob as a weak side safety shot blocker. If anything, Celtic defense will be more effective, or at least, more capable of defending to their comfort zone.

Tatum is the most conventionally talented player in the series. Jimmy Butler is the best basketball player in this series. I think another point that is not being discussed is that the offense of the Nets and Bucks was way more predictable and easy to game plan against than the Miami Heat. When you play the Heat you will have to make multiple adjustments within each game because they exploit what you give them. That’s what makes them so dangerous despite not having a superstar that passes the “Eye test.” It is also why they were able to secure the number one seed despite the injuries they sustained this season. The Celtics are playing really well and if they do win I wouldn’t be shocked but I’m going with the Heat.

To me if the Heat are going to win this series, they are going to need more from Kyle Lowry overall but particularly on the defensive end even though he's not what he use to be because of his age and the mileage on him.
The thing about Lowry he has been one of the best two way point guards for a very long time and he's one of those star point guards who could adapt to different roles which some star point guards are not able to do.

Ppl sleeping on Miami. Number 1 seed and were not healthy much of the year. Butler is playing great 2 way ball this playoffs just like he did in 2020 playoffs. Bam and Butler are top3 two way combo in NBA. Lowry health is important (just heard out Game 1 don’t like that) but Heat added two tough as nails defensive vets who have won titles in PJ Brown & Lowry.
Oladipo X factor and will Miami be hitting from 3? I would be shocked if this series doesn’t go 6 or 7. If Lowry was 1000% healthy I would pick Miami. Also what is Robert Williams status?
