The cameraman’s commentary is the best 😂 oowee / oh my goodness
hahahaha
Bro has only 2 dialogue lines
😂😂
😂😂
@@bemishcactus lol, he’s spot on with them though ! Noticed it in previous video’s too, but it seems to intensify with the hard sparring 😂
Can't lie when I saw the short clip I definitely thought "ooh that's pretty hard sparring" but you clarifying the two types of hard sparring, I get that cause I hard spar when with good partners when we've communicated haha and awesome to see so many knees and elbows in sparring! A lot of people seem to be super against it but I reckon it's so useful
cheers :)
I love elbows. They change how you spar and fight and completely change the clinch game. I'm more of a Muay Khao style guy but I started off with BJJ and have been doing MMA the past couple years. It's way easier against lots of pure mma guys since they don't always have proper muay thai training
This all started because it was Jeffs turn to wear the tiger print shorts😂
lmao
I think it would be a good idea to do a video where you spar new students and then teach how to be careful with them while making that sparring session good and while teaching them lessons in the same time
I like the idea!!
@@jesusiskingofkingss yo bro, yeah many student just want to feel the high of the fight and they think they're the best but with the right teaching and with some punches in the face to waken them up it can work. My teacher knew to do it pretty good with me
Camera man commentating with "ooowee" and "Oh my goodness" is perfect
hahaha
that shi annoying af
Hell yea, would love to see more elbow content. I'm currently working on implementing more elbows and knees. Great vid as always 👌
more coming :)
The truth is, this level of control at this intensity is a very difficult thing to achieve. In most gyms a sparring like that would probably end up in a war. Great video, as always.
thanks so much!
The part I love most is when you comment yourself actually not being qualified to comment on how hard your elbows actually where, as it is your first time sparring with elbow pads. So humble. Such a nice attitude. That's why I love to forward your videos to fellow training mates.
thank you!!
This vid definitely added the right amount of context for the previous one.
Makes all the difference. Nice work.
:) thanks!!
Omg the guy in the backgound!
haha
Great sparring session!
thank you!!!
Good work is physically intense, emotionally controlled, and very professional. Good work appreciate the knowledge.
thanks for watching!
I like how the intensity kept increasing higher and higher, but the respect never waned or disappeared.
It's understandable you were primarily focused on elbows since having a partner that there is mutual trust and respect is seldom found.
🔥🔥🔥
:) oss!!
Looks like good hard sparring with skill and trust - cool to watch
yes :)
Such a cool sparring session here! And great breakdown, as always!
thank you!
That was sicccckkkkkkkkk!!!!!! Always a pleasure to watch you work jeff. I just got my muay thai cert last year an i always learn so much from you. Thank you so much brother you the man. And ur camera guy had ne dead with the noises😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂ooooowwweeeeeeffffff lmfao
hahahaha! thanks for watching!
Awesome video thanks for sharing Jeff!
thanks for watching!
Damn', impressive display of perfect techniques and sportsmanship
thank you!!
Just saw your personal video and I must say I'm 1) Surprised you're from Toronto! and 2) impressed with the adversity you showed during that whole ordeal. Props to you man. I love these training sessions cause I love elbows haha. Ive always actually been curious why MMA fighters don't throw elbows or knees really. Even a lumpinee caliber like Kru Rong didn't throw that many.
thank you for listening and watching!
Nice Sparring session presented perfectly
thanks for watching!
Love seeing some elbows in sparring! We used to wear shin pads on our arms and strike a bit lighter and would add elbows in the mix.
awesome!!
the ooouiis, oh my goodnesses and opas makes this so funny. i'm guessing yussuf is greek judging by that. we used to wear elbow pads when we sparred even if we didn't do elbows, to protect our partners when they kick an elbow but when elbows are allowed you can still get hurt and cut even if you got the pads so i think it's better to control them regardless. what i liked here is how much even something as adding only a small new element changes the game, the stance and people's approach.
hes from turkey!
Jeff's legit an amazing fighter.
thank you!
Jeff’s step in knee and left hook to the body is looking really crisp on pads
thanks!!
The long guard to the elbow is one of my favorite drills on the pads. Definitely not gonna risk it in sparring tho, even with elbow pads
That cameraman sounds like a french Canadian 😂....good video Jeff 🎉🎉🎉❤
haha thanks!
ha jeff that was a great trap over head elbow you did at the end 😮💯💯
thanks!!!
Wild...thanks for sharing
thanks for watching!
Keep that man as the main cameraman pleeeeaasse! 😂📸🎥 Owwweeee! 💯🥋🥊
haha oss!
As always, appreciate your objectiveness! Didn't know you've never worn elbow pads before!
haha yeah, recently ive been wearing them a lot tho! :)
Nice that you got Elie Seckback to be your cameraman and shout Owee and OMG continuously.
God channel , thx for share all this videos as a Bibloteca of Martial Arts , your thougs about fighting and everything , we enjoy it from argentina sir !!
thank you!!!
More sparring with the elbow pads !
definitely!!!
Is this a who wore it best video? The matching shorts 😂. I really liked this one. Once the control is there, we should experiment with elbows in a safe manner. I am small and 125. The only time I have ever had to use MA in a self-defense setting, I threw in an elbow instinctively. I have those tiny bony elbows that can really hurt. As a kid I still remember feeling powerful throwing elbows into boards😂. If only everyone could hold pads correctly for elbows, if only there was a good course for this😂. This video shows us that things can be super high level and hard if we have the skills. Nice job gentlemen! Camera guy as always is on fire.
haha damn!! yes control is the best thing to have when it comes to sparring. And ill let John (the camera man) know he is appreciated :))
Really fun video. I want to try elbow pads!
:)
Well the short video looks definitely more intense and harder than the actual whole video, because of the cut scenes... But as you said this is the type of sparing where both of you agreed to the conditions and know each other. And yes you went completely "elbow mode" 😂
cheers!
5:50 That self awareness is beautiful, it goes such a long way
cheers!
Didn't expect mr poopybutthole to leave the Rick and Morty universe to film mma videos, ooooweeee
It's frustrating when you're the only one pulling at the last second. But a hard leg kick usually clears things up.
As someone that used to not be able to tell when people go too far, I really liked your explanation of how low-ego team-mates hard spar. I used to be that commenter spamming that your partner goes too hard.
hahahah cheers!
excellent work. Can I request a video on different blocking techniques in a full power scenario?
long guard and head movement all the way!!!
4:59 that was pretty zesty NGL bro 😂
hahaha
The three minute twenty five parry was definitely the best action of you, very nice >>listening
oss!
@@MMAShredded I watched your video with professional japanese fighters and wondered if you ever tried Sepak takraw, or Sepaktakraw, also called buka ball, kick volleyball or foot volleyball, is a team sport played with a ball made of rattan or synthetic plastic between two teams of two to four players on a court resembling a badminton court.
@@MMAShreddedThere is also a chinese version which monks are fond of, called Jianzi, tī jianzi, tī jian, or jianqiú, is a traditional Chinese sport in which players aim to keep a heavily weighted shuttlecock in the air. It is done a lot for improving footwork and application of power in kicks
Thx 4 sharing!
Can u recommend some good and tight fitting elbow pads?
Cheers!
the ones I wear are from SMAI
Great sparring. I would really like to see more sparring with elbows, but so that your mind is not concentrated to those, but instead you are playing your normal game + elbows
im sure il eventually get to that haha!! right now all I see is elbows!!!!!
That is high level fighting 😎
oss!
Controlled hard sparring. 💪🏽 💪🏽
osss
@@MMAShredded osss! We almost have exact same name lol.
Great video Jeff you just reminded me I have to buy elbowpads. Where did you get these? The ones I find don't look good. Thank you!
these ones are called SMAI from austrailia!
@@MMAShredded 🙏
Is Morty your camera man ?
Damn Coach, you throwing the elbows with intention!
Also, question, what elbow pads would you recommend for Muay Thai?
the ones im wearing are from SMAI
I would love a tutorial on elbows man, thank you 🙏
il make one :) just collecting more footage !
The elbows though 🔥
oss
Jeff is 💯 right. I'm TKD and throw side kicks. My partner of 2 years needs to throw them but doesn't.
One session he hit me with one and knocked the life out of me. My comment to him " bro, that side kick was sexy"
haha cheers!
Great spar
thx!!
@@MMAShredded btw I tried that salsa dance to the knee the other day at sparring. Worked great. Thanks for all the great tips as always.
i like this fighting style
cheers!
What brand elbow pad do you use? Any reccomendation on knee pad?
its called SMAI from austrailia!
The camera man… is on point. Lol 😂
hahaha
How'd it feel getting hit by a padded elbow in this setting?
And do you think it would be different in the more hostile hard sparring session you described?
his elbows were controlled
There's efficiency when it comes to striking with distance.
cheers!
I had a question actually, do the elbows still really hurt even with the pads on? Or is there enough padding to where it only feels like a regular punch?
depends on how hard your partner hits you haha
Bro you need to do a ilia topuria combos and strategies video , love you jeff
thanks bro!!
Great stuff JC!! No, I don't think it was too hard for you guys. BUT for an amateur? YA! Too many ops to get a busted nose! LOL
haha cheers!!
this give me goosebumps
haha
@@MMAShredded Z elbow game, change it all
He's pretty good. I would love to spar yusaf.
hes amazing!!
I also want to start working with ellbows, but i was wondering if the strikes still hurt badly. Because the ellbow pads look kinda thin. Does anybody have any experience with them ?
they dont hurt very much! well depends how much control your partner has
Good day for fishin' innit
haha
So question as a total noob concerning fighting and fighting matches.
You mentioned Yousef was gearing up for a fight. Do you usually want to having some harder sparring to kinda "get in the mood" so to say or rath6 tone down the intensity to prevent injuries before the fight.
some hard sparring during fight camp is good for getting used to the intensity of a fight, but 1-2 weeks out, you shouldn't be sparring hard at all
Thank you!@@MMAShredded
Entertaining as always but you’re a mad man Jeff 😂
😂😂😂
More tutorial Elbows. Oss👊
osss!
Awesome 💪👏👍
thanks!!
Jeff, please do a tutorial video 🙏🏽
It would be greatly appreciated
I am collecting sparring footage, give me some time but I will make one :)
@@MMAShredded thanks
Elbow tutorial would be fire
im working on one :)
elbows and knee pads are the better content for sure
cheers!
OOOWEEE OH MY GOODNESS OOWWEE
i muted those bits, pretty distracting
As an infamous clinch fighter at my gym, elbows are my worse enemy
ahahaha damn!
Can u make a video talking about your footwork
I have a free footwork guide for it: www.mmashredded.com/footworksignup
Thx ❤️
OH MY GOODNESS!!!!

some of them, not all of them
Oh my goodness.
hahahba
Oooweeee oh my goodness
hahaha
What is the brand of the elbow pad?
this one is from a brand called SMAI
@@MMAShredded thank you Jeff!
Sometimes sounded like Joseph Joestar was holding the camera!
haha
Your sparring partners next opponent is over here like: Okay, yeah, so keep the arms up to raise his guard and then go to the body, gotchu. Oh, and push kicks to get him off balace? Ok bet.
lmao
👏👏👏
:)
Drinking game: take a shot everytime he says "oh my goodness"
One ticket to CTE City 😂
I hope Mr. Oowee Oh My Goodness is never the cameraman again. Extremely annoying, but it was a great sparring session.
Hearing the commentary at 0.5 playback speed is hilarious
hahaha
All I have to say is ....Oooo Weeee!
hahaha
Немного жестковато работали, лайк.
can you start uploading more wrestling, bjj content? It'd be nice to learn from you.
I can work on some yes!
Veeery nicht!
Good work!
