News for the next event in Pokemon Go is coming! This event starts on Monday, February 5th at 10 am and runs until Sunday, February 11th at 8 pm.
Happy Lunar New Year! The Pokémon GO Lunar New Year event is happening once again! Dragons, friendship bonuses and candy are all included!
Event bonuses include increased chance for lucky pokemon in trades, increased chance to become lucky friends, more candy for hitting nice, great and excellent throws as well as extra XL candy chance from the same throws! A new pokemon, a global challenge and new research will be available!
Wild spawns and research task encounters are stacked and include dratini, magikarp, shuckle, fennekin, skrelp, noibat, jangmo-o, trapinch, swablu, gible, darumaka, druddigon, deino, tyrunt, goomy, turtonator and drampa. Some even have a chance to be shiny than wild caught!
The global challenge requires the global playerbase to hit 1 billion nice throws to unlock evolution bonuses, raids and bonus spawns. Get your throwing hand ready and get those catches, we can do it!

Buying the event ticket will have no effect on your spawns that you find in the wild.
