I know this comment is old, but it's gotten worse out there and this is even truer She loved this regular ah dude (at the time) and was willing to build with him. From paying off debt, to living back with his parents for a couple years, to living in the hood with other people in a plex, to traveling a year on the road with him trucking, and her pay off was her career that she wants and loves, soaring, and his career going into the stratosphere. My God if i had a woman like that to build with me, it would be the ultimate payoff for me and her. None of these women want to do that now.

True but anybody who blames a kid for why they didn't succeed was gonna fail anyway. The majority of people with great riches got them later in life and usually they have kids. I'm not saying to have kids, lol definitely should wait. All I'm saying is, a failure will fail and a winner will win. Period.

They both got lucky they didn’t get together with a partner that’s always wanting to go out to eat, travel, buy brand new highly expensive items, etc etc It helped them save up until they could invest it and make it to where they are now

They probably needed those streams to become one. I really don't believe in that. If your good at what you do and you getting money then it's really no need. I think some people do it just to say their doing it. It all depends on your financial wants and needs. There's no reason why if you own a truck you shouldn't be a millionaire in 6 years unless you have debt or a family prior to trucking.

Sorry but a low spending job you love will get you nowhere, sure you might enjoy it but that won’t get you nowhere, life has to basically be a lottery no matter how we think not everyone gets the same opportunities as these guys, been homeless an d such myself now in my current job my physical health is dwindling and I’m still job hopping because jobs in my area just suck and such
Youre the man bro! I was in retail and restaurant gig hell too. But saved my cash and went and got my CDL too. Now I make more than I know what to do with. 2020 was my best income year to date. Work boomed. My 401k, roth ira and stock accounts are all flying high. I even got to Miami & the Bahamas and Vegas for vacations even during a pandemic. All those folks out there struggling in go nowhere jobs - learn a trade. Whether its truck driving or apprenricing a trade union for plumbing or hvac or electrician ... you can change your financial situation if you're willing to grind

I don’t know them, but they both had college degrees, but didn’t get a high paying job out of school Going to school and having a degree isn’t really starting from the bottom They struggled and eventually got to a point where they were making 6 figures, but did they grow up poor or are you saying, “Recent Grads struggled when they went into the real world” I’m sure they would’ve been fine after a while of working and promotions Either way, they did good to continue looking and wanting more and eventually making that much
You are true inspiration! Been contemplating on getting my CDL for a long time and I’m finally doing it. Have an appointment with truck school this weekend. I’m just not happy where I’m at in terms of my job, my living situation, etc. I have three sources of income right now and about $20k+ saved/invested, but I plan to truck for 2-4yrs, stack my paper, buy real estate, and ultimately achieve financial freedom. One thing I can say is learn financial literacy first before anything else! There are people making $100k per year, living paycheck to paycheck. Hopefully I’m OTR soon 🤙🏼

I tell young people all the time to join the military. You can’t beat the benefits as a young person. I got out of the military and used the gi bill to get my cdl. I’m now a heavy equipment operator making 35 bucks an hour Monday through Friday. 7 to 3. I work at a government facility, which basically means that I don’t work that hard and I get a lot of pto. Between my salary and my military pension I make right around 100k.

But again smooth, clear, quick response process from them. (Jeff Helmes (MRC) from the Fort Hood location was the main person I worked with)

My pride & the fact that I didn’t have parents or family to move back in with was all the determination needed. You say that you weren’t happy; are you happy now? Why are you happy or still unhappy now? Having possessions (paid off) & money coming in & being saved/invested. Seems like having a family with kids is the next step.

I went to CR England in Utah and got my cdl years ago, but last year I just bought a condo in Orlando and I just put a deposit down on my first truck. Finally gonna be an Owner operator and I plan to rent the condo out in the future and get into stock also.
@@MM-zt4oe Within a week I had my permit, within a few weeks had my cdl. I went out with 2 different trainers for a few weeks with each trainer and that's when I really learned how to drive. After about 2 months was driving my own truck for them.
I love Old Dominion. I used them to send an expensive hand made statue from Tucson to Chicago and they did it flawlessly. No bs, no extra charges. Great experience. After that I thought man, that is a good stock to buy and hold.
No lie this is one of the best CZcams videos I’ve seen in a long time truly inspirational, but it goes to show you pursue happiness first over money and eventually the money came overtime. A lot of wisdom in this video. Yeah I need to pay attention his brother speak to fax. Sometimes you got to take two steps back in order to take one step forward in life stay humble we can.

Truth after truth. I hate those “inspirational” videos with nothing but vague asinine “advice” and steps. This right here though is an awesome way to give advice, thanks for opening up about the practical decisions you made. Most folks can’t accept when they have to step back and re examine their choices and let go of some vanity for better investments. I know, I was there once and now I re examine my choices more often than I probably should lol but it’s working ! The kids part is true too, I have one daughter and having her lit a fire in me BUT it didn’t make things easier, and there’s nothing wrong with understanding that and waiting for those who don’t have any yet.
This was the first video of yours I’ve seen, and I’ve got to admit I enjoyed every moment of it. I’m 21 years old and I’ve been through multiple trades already, but I just got a truck and started hotshot trucking. I am working to diversify my income streams and one day have financial freedom. I didn’t even think of the opportunity in renting my own personal vehicles, I think I will have to save and invest into that as well! Pretty soon you won't need that rig no more. Thats how we should roll in trucking. Get your experience, stack that cash, find multiple stream of income ( investments) next you know it , you kicking back home everyday not driving . What kills everyone from getting thier is spending money you don't have . ( vehicles, dream vacations, huge homes , expensive materials) Gotta build wealth first. Thats why ppl panic when they don't work for a week. Most Americans can only handle 1 week without work. After that its all panic. . Too much money tie down to waste We want it all!!!!!!!!! Everyone has thier own path . What you choice affects tomorrow Heres a tip: stop trading cars so often . Todays vehicle's go much longer. I got a 12 year old truck. Last 8 years no truck payments. Thats 9k in my pocket every year. Keep your damn vehicle's longer . A few hundred dollars a year on maintenance is better then thousands wasted a year

The decision to not have kids was wise financially. Young people should consider waiting until their finances are squared away.

I’m blown away by your story. I’ve been trucking for 6.5 years and I’m ready to level up in life. I’m 28 and I feel I’ve accomplished nothing so far.

You are true inspiration! Been contemplating on getting my CDL for a long time and I’m finally doing it. Have an appointment with truck school this weekend. I’m just not happy where I’m at in terms of my job, my living situation, etc. I have three sources of income right now and about $20k+ saved/invested, but I plan to truck for 2-4yrs, stack my paper, buy real estate, and ultimately achieve financial freedom. One thing I can say is learn financial literacy first before anything else! There are people making $100k per year, living paycheck to paycheck. Hopefully I’m OTR soon 🤙🏼

What we do know is that we likely did not exist before being born. So we spent who knows how much time not existing. Why would it be surprising to think that after death we cease to exist? If anything, our body is broken down and continues to be part of this world, but our mind is no more.

I tell young people all the time to join the military. You can’t beat the benefits as a young person. I got out of the military and used the gi bill to get my cdl. I’m now a heavy equipment operator making 35 bucks an hour Monday through Friday. 7 to 3. I work at a government facility, which basically means that I don’t work that hard and I get a lot of pto. Between my salary and my military pension I make right around 100k.

I went to CR England in Utah and got my cdl years ago, but last year I just bought a condo in Orlando and I just put a deposit down on my first truck. Finally gonna be an Owner operator and I plan to rent the condo out in the future and get into stock also.
How long is the CDL training process
@@MM-zt4oe Within a week I had my permit, within a few weeks had my cdl. I went out with 2 different trainers for a few weeks with each trainer and that's when I really learned how to drive. After about 2 months was driving my own truck for them.
I love Old Dominion. I used them to send an expensive hand made statue from Tucson to Chicago and they did it flawlessly. No bs, no extra charges. Great experience. After that I thought man, that is a good stock to buy and hold.

Truth after truth. I hate those “inspirational” videos with nothing but vague asinine “advice” and steps. This right here though is an awesome way to give advice, thanks for opening up about the practical decisions you made. Most folks can’t accept when they have to step back and re examine their choices and let go of some vanity for better investments. I know, I was there once and now I re examine my choices more often than I probably should lol but it’s working ! The kids part is true too, I have one daughter and having her lit a fire in me BUT it didn’t make things easier, and there’s nothing wrong with understanding that and waiting for those who don’t have any yet.

I know a doctor who makes 250k a year and a trucker that makes 80k a year. The trucker saves more money than the doctor because he doesn't live an expensive lifestyle. The trucker will retire before the doctor.
