1. Sharing pictures of how are spending your day.
2. A call in the morning - don't bring any arguments here. Just talk as to what's for the day and wish I each other a great day.
3. Keep your data on at all times. - Depending with if you go to work or college, you may have different rules and regulations towards the use of cellphones. However, make this known to your partner.
4. Making them a priority. This connects with the previous point as depending whether phones are supposed to be off till you knock of or what. But make it possible that as much as others might not reach you, your lover should still be able to. This keeps the connection between both parties very well and can erase the issue of insecurities.
5.Then also your night talk. This is where you discuss everything, whether it's laughter or arguments or whatsoever, this is where you discuss it all. But make sure you always end on a positive note. Like remind them you love them,..
6. Prayer. After your night discussions always end with a prayer. This keeps both parties together as regardless of how much you fought during the day...
So the key thing is communication and connection. Being available for each other at all times is key.

I’ve been in a long distance relationship for over a year now and it’s definitely not for the weak. My boyfriend and i have truly grown individually and together within the past year. Our communication has improved and our love has deepened. God truly gets all the glory for it✨

the hard part about my LDR is that he's in Australia and I'm in England. he's in school I'm in summer holidays starting school in two weeks. we had been together 8 months almost seeing each other every day (we used to attend the same school until he was sent to boarding school) I will admit, I did want him go at all as he was possibly the only person who was always there for me whenever I needed someone. we genuinely fell in love in a matter of weeks and only got together after a month. its been around over a month since he's left and I'm struggling so hard because I'm scared ill loose contact when I start school again. but the video has helped me be more confident in our relationship. thank you :)

I agree. It is important to touch base with the person almost daily. Technology definitely helps. I have been carrying on with a man 3,000 miles away for 4.5 years now. But at some point, someone has to compromise. I'll be moving out to him in a couple of months because I can. He can't move due to the nature of his job. I also have other loved ones out there as well. So in the end, the move is probably more about me, but I am glad I made the decision. Long distance can never be a forever thing.

Absolutely! My parents have been divorced for 20 years and when they were married, they were constantly arguing and fighting. People got involved when they weren’t supposed to and it was so toxic for me and my brother. For years, I realize that them getting divorced was probably the best thing to happen because we knew that they can’t be together! As a child dealing with that, I felt the pain and I learned from it and hope to not ever repeat it! Hurting kids from a toxic relationship isn’t fun. I experienced it first hand. Educational as always, coming from a guy in a long distance relationship for two years and counting... Bottom line, every relationship can work if you want it to. It's not all smooth but they all work.
He got home from work I told him how I seen him randomly in his tow truck with a girl not woman lifting her head from his lap. He was profusely claiming that wasn’t him. After 21 years I’m more than sure I can. Recognize my husband and the next car over so cuz I wouldn’t pretent like always I believe him he put me in between bed and dresser choking me swear to god it’s true about seeing your life flash before your eyes I begged for my life for him to let go. That was last year since then I have on going nonstop anxiety. 3 days I threw him out I’m running never looking back. Thank you so much for your advice. Thank you my friend. I just found out the girl I’ve been with for a year cheated on me. I loved her more than I loved myself, and I ended up losing myself to the relationship. When I caught her in the act all she did was laugh and smirk, and it absolutely killed me. What was crazy is that she would tell me all these wonderful things, like how she wanted my children, and how she wanted to marry me and build a home with me. Great stuff. I'm in a rut here though. You say before starting any of this, the spouse must end the affair. So in my husband's offense, it's ended but he still talks and texts the woman because they still work together and it's only about work and he no longer has feelings for her😥. I keep trying to make him understand all the above that you mention about my hurt and everything but he doesn't take empathy or compassion in my pain. How can I make him understand that keeping her around is pretty much making me replay the infidelity over and over again and I was able to move on with the help of *Brian Hacks* when he give me access to the text messages.

Am in long distance relationship for 3 years now coz your first video on long distance relationship but but no any call or recording on watsup just typing. After first I was tooooooo hurt and it was too harder for me. I take 3 to 4 months without hearing his voice. But coz of your video Jessica I had to endure and fight and work harder for myself incase when I go home when he is not serious. I get where to start and continue with life. Good morning everyone, I'm 22yrs, there's this girl I like so much, but but I found out when we went deep into the relationship that she is just 16yrs, I have tried to let her go but the hard I try the more I like her. Recently she told me that she is the only child of her parents and her parents are not in Nigeria and that soon she will be going to meet them over there. I agree with all the pointers you’ve given. Being in a distance relationship is a lot of work. Time zone makes it harder to make plans. Virtual dates, watching the same movie in the cinema or Netflix, etc
