The only re-runs I'm concerned about are the older Mission Pass skins. It's a shame that newer players (and veterans who didn't have the cash at the time) have to completely miss out on those skins.
It would be a good idea to add them into the cash shop so people can still buy them if they REALLY wanted them

Or the free skins like summer Rapi, just add it to the event shop like Anchor, same with the Modernia one, put it in the anni event shop.
They should just add those skins to the skin shop. Maybe lower the price a bit since you wouldn’t get the 10 pull associated with them.
Imma be honest, the people who are confused by reruns on this game clearly havent played many gacha games. Since the way reruns work in nikke is pretty standard.
Agree with you so much. What pain me so much is when people pull characters like Trony who we know are fillers and then complain they don't have enough gem for summer.
I know waifu blah blah but you guys aren't rich. You cant have them all, wake up and admit you are poor and save those gems. Save if you want good limited characters or pilgrims.
Yeah this is more of issue to normies than anything else, as a gacha player you by default know that you either go full waifu or meta and accept the fact you will not have everything.
Tons of other gacha games re-run characters? How is this the standard? Newer players should get access to older character cuz it literally makes no sense to block them when it literally will make SU more money if they re-run pilgrims.
@@KL-pm6tihonestly u can get both since most of the units go to standard afterwards so the potential to get that character is pretty high, how I got most of my units. Also they give permanent 10 pull each event and if u save a couple you can get the character you want, not every banner but most. One of the most generous games I’ve played

ONG ME TOO. I WAS LITERALLY JOINED IN DECEMBER BUT I DIDN'T BUY THE SKIN CUS I DIDN'T KNOW IT WAS LIMITED (and I didn't really "know" the game at that time or know noise). I desperately want that skin every freaking day bruh😢
They should rerun pilgrims imo.. I am from FGO.. top characters like Castoria/Morgan have already been rerun multiple times
For me i have been very lucky since starting a few months ago (i have put in some $$ tho) and got all pilgrims except noah, rapunzel, dorothy.. i even got the big meta units a couple times
I want dorothy so bad.. super interesting character.. would be willing to spend on the banner
To me it feels like they are missing out on $$ on this and old costumes.. Helm/Sugar have some crazy good ones.. which i missed
The only costumes that should be unavailable after a run are the gacha ones
No reason to not have Pepper summer costume for instance in the shop right now

I will say that anything Rapi at this point would be good. It would be nice to have a version of Rapi using Kaio-ken mode. ♨️
SSR Rapi is Shift Up's "In case of emergency, break glass" character.
If she shows up, you can safely assume that the company is in dire financial straights, and they need a guaranteed money maker.
I've been playing nikke for around half a year and I REALLY need red hood and Dorothy 😭 I don't even have burst 1 pilgrim for the tribe tower..

I personally find Nikke’s rerun policy very strange. Most other gacha I’ve played rerun most banners at least once. Blue archive, genshin, fgo, etc. it’s important to let newer players catch missed characters and it’s a way to space out content and not have to have something new constantly.
It's really not that strange tbh. Every single nikke outside of collabs and seasonal events gets added to the standard pool, while seasonal's seem to be getting a rerun during their respective events. So players always have a chance to get missed nikkes. Unlike in games like Genshin where once the characters banner leaves...you have ZERO chance of getting that character again until they rerun them. which can range from a few months to well over a year.
Which makes me far happier with how Nikke does things. I actually enjoy using standard banner vouchers and opening molds because I can get new nikkes I skipped, or get dupes of ones I like. Unlike in Genshin where the standard banner is just straight up garbage that I feel no joy in pulling on with the VERY few standard pulls they drip feed the players.
I still disagree. Namely with pilgrims, who are the central meta core but cannot be wishlisted. Genshin isn’t perfect, but it is very easy to get one copy of the character you want due to their fairly attainable pity and frequent reruns of most characters. Blue archive is a good example of plenty of units going to the general pool but also having a very frequent rerun of every event banner. Along with a good pity system and you can get most characters you want. Frankly I don’t think nikke overall benefits from how stingy they are with reruns.
@@TheEmperorGulcasa Agree completely. People just saying "get it from the standard pool" are delusional. I'm glad they are lucky enough to get it from the standard pull but I have over 5000 pulls (actual non-friend summon pulls) and I'm still missing Pilgrims that have been there this entire time. 5000+ pulls is A LOT. Dorothy not getting a re-run was very disappointing. People need to wake up and realize that it's a massive problem, especially with more and more units being added to the standard pool.
Maybe if a lot of people suggest to them through costumer support, they can change something and add a exclusive re-run banner for pilgrims from time to time
@@TheEmperorGulcasa The people who say "just get the Pilgrim from the standard banner lol" I suspect have literally never actually depended on getting a Pilgrim from the standard banner ever. You can easily pull 5000 times and never get a Pilgrim.
Its true that Nikke usually has generous gacha rates, but the game vacillates from generous to fucking stupid depending one what type of character you're talking about. The Pilgrim rates wouldn't actually be that bad if you could either wishlist them, or pity them outside of their limited banner, but you can't.
Just adding the ability to wishlist Pilgrims while keeping the overall pull rate the same would relieve almost all of the salt over Pilgrims.
I would really appreciate a Red Hood one, she finally started showing up in a big way in my story campaign, having conversations with Crown and stuff.
Your best bet is just to keep summoning and grind out pilgrim molds

Hi, I'm new to Nikke. Is upgrading a Nikke from 3-star to Core 1 a smaller power boost than upgrading from 2-star to 3-star? Or is it the same amount of power boost?
The collabs won't get reruns. It is what it is.
Ever since Dorothy didn't rerun for the 1.5 anniversary, I never assume reruns. Less disappointment that way.
Sigh, that's a relief. I'll be back next Summer for Summer Mary. New player here, started playing last month and was saving all my gems and tickets for Summer Mary. 230+ pulls and nada. I got other SSRs of course. Hope she comes back though. I'll be using the mileage ticket for Summer Anis instead. But right now I've been feeling like crap for the past few days because of my luck.

Reruns were under question until the Winter event, ever since than I don't understand why people expected seasonal characters to *not* have a rerun

They for sure have a cash formula behind most their decisions and the FOMO is how they get people to spend crazy on limited banners and pilgrim banners

Stopped playing for a year and a bit , luckily I have 2 copies of Modernia and Snow white. Returned too late for Red Hood so hoping shes coming again 🫡 and Dorothy.
I was hoping for three things when all this discussion began: that they rerun summer units, that they brought Anchor back (hoping for Rapi skin was unrealistic) and that they rerun Red Hood with the release of her skin, and here it is hoping that they do. Now, for what I know, Modernia has had three banners so far, while every other pilgrim banner has only had one banner (Dorothy, Red Hood, SBS and Crown) and since I agree not reruning Crown (and even SBS) eventually would be a mistake, it is weird that they have'nt rerun Dorothy yet

Everything should rerun, the biggest problem in gachas or games in general is missing out on cool skins or characters. Punishing future players is always a dumb move as it could be the difference between them playing or not.
they should start rerunning skins or putting them in the store
Maybe put pass skins in the shop for $20 without the bonus rewards of the pass and gacha skins in the shop for $50-60 Flat without/with the other rewards.
If they feel like It'll devalue the skins to have them permanently they could make it a one week store once a year, a cosmetic rerun event, maybe during Anniversary.

I'm a broke ass f2p who has to maximize every pull so your opinions and knowledge has been a huge help, thanks. I got Sakura now if I can get Rosanna and Anis I'll be happy until the anniversary event. I am wondering if they will treat Pilgrims like wild cards and run a random one on a special banner twice a year.
I wouldn't be so salty about Pilgrims if they enabled people to wishlist the Pilgrims on the standard banner like they can with Elysion, Missilis, and Tetra.
They could keep the overall rates for Pilgrims the same, but just being able to wishlist them would make a lot of the angst over them go away.
I didn't even know Nikke as a game existed back when Dorothy was added, and it definitely feels like a punishment to be subjected to pure RNG just because you weren't a day 1 player who was present for every banner.
To add onto this, they need to update the milage shop so that its possible to get Pilgrim dupes other than Noah. Its legit fuckin' stupid you can't get Pilgrim dupes from the milage shop. What is even the point of excluding the Pilgrims in that way?
Regardless of reruns. This game needs a way to target Pilgrims.
Everything that is not on the wishlist, should either have banner reruns, golden mileage spots or some other system to target them
There is far too much meta Pilgrim grandfathering from those who were there playing from the start.
Modernia, RH, SBS and Crown are must haves

I disagree with this assessment. It is very difficult to draw any conclusions based on what they have done in the past because SU has been consistently inconsistent. Modernia got reran? Why? Nobody knows, but people inferred Doro would on her anniversary in the same way that Modernia was, and that didn't happen. Winter characters got reran but not in the same way as the summer characters. If we get more reruns at winter, will it be Year 1 Nikkes, or just Year 2 Winter Limiteds? Nobody knows. Heck, for New Years now we've had a Pilgrim banner 2 years in a row. Does that mean we're guaranteed a pilgrim banner this NY? No sir, it does not (though probably)..
