    If you didn’t want to use Avocado for some reason, you can also make a creamy dressing with soft tofu, or any nut or seed of your choice. Soak the nuts or seeds for a couple hours or overnight. Use high speed blender for best results.

    I LOVE my salads, but since kicking oil as part of my plant based lifestyle, it seems that all dressings I've tried making taste so incredibly...what's the word I'm looking for....different. They aren't tragic, just not anything that makes me say "oh man that tastes delicious!". I look forward to trying your recipe later today! Thank you so much for sharing!

    I think this is the best coleslaw recipe I've ever seen. I will be making this for a barbecue next. That's really brilliant Derek.
    I want to say I had no idea that you got stuck here for four months, with nothing but your carry-on bag and I'm very sorry and how horrible! It's just a sinlet that happen to people for obviously no good reason I mean we can see that you're not sick so what was the point??
    I'm very sorry you went through that, and I hope you didn't lose anything on account of.
    You look a little sad here which is kind of how I still feel, thank you so much for still making videos

    You could take care with opening the avocado without a knife and save the seed to replant it.

    • @carolynblakeney966
      @carolynblakeney966 Před 4 lety

      Yep, you could totally save the seed (I have one sprouted and growing now), but most of us do not live in tropical climes, so there are only so many potted avocado plants one can grow! I am going to attempt to keep it alive in my greenhouse over the winter here in Zone 7b, but it's going to be at best a crapshoot. There are some varieties of avocado plants being marketed now as more frost tolerant for those of us who go below freezing in the winter.

      There is fat but no oil. Have you ever seen oil that has fiber in it? :-) . I'd probably cut this down to 1 avocado.......

    • @truepeacenik
      @truepeacenik Před 4 lety +1

      Yes. Oil and fat aren’t necessarily synonymous. Avocado is a whole food. Oils aren’t. Yes the dressing is high fat, just like the cashew one.
