    I always use copper paste to prevent wheelhub corrosion! Here in Finland winters get very corrosive on cars. Great video!

    For the rim color I saw a video from the UK 🇬🇧 and the guy used “Kingsport Grey”. It looked great!

    Looks great. Don't forget that with new wheels or wheel hardware like spacers you should torque the lugs to spec then drive it a couple hundred miles then go back safe recheck torque values. The corrosion is because of the two dissimilar metals aluminum wheel on a steel hub and heat from friction so using some high temp wheel bearing grease or non copper anti size is a great idea even with a factory configuration.

    The front tyre gap on my e60 is 15mm and the rear wheel gap to fender is 20mm. The rears are further in. What spacers would be best 5mm front and 15or 20mm rear? I want the rears to have more poke. I want the rears to stick ot staggered compared to the fronts. Do I leave the 15mm gap at front and go for 15 or 20mm just on the rears? Let me know which ones you would go for to give it the desired look. I am on the original 17’s but lowered 30mm only. Please let me know

      @@EvanGoyuk Ok thanks. I have the same car (528) and I want a wider/nicer stance. I was also thinking to go up a size in rim from 18" to 19". I'm also wondering if that would compromise the nice smooth ride I've come to enjoy

  • @kniksman
    @kniksman Před 3 lety +1

    I've been watching your videos for years regarding the e46 and to be honest I'm disappointed that you've only just discovered spacers. Spacers are usually the 2nd or 3rd mod that someone does to a car for visual and drivability aspect. I've seen you do oil catch can mod, retrofitting folding mirrors and then coding them, upgrading sound system, heck you even did the automatic trunk opening mod on the e46....and you only just found out that spacers are a must have mod? Damn. Turned up to the party a little late there.

    • @EvanGoyuk
      @EvanGoyuk  Před 3 lety

      Lol I love this comment! I am extremely late to the party. I am a huge fan of original bmw wheels and adding these spacers really help tie the car together. They will definitely be a mod due much earlier. I will be required to run spacers on my e46 once I do another mod 🤔
