Dude David since I’ve started watching this channel like 2 years ago your ability to create consistently quality content and it always seem in tune with other videos you’ve released shows the dedication and passion I think sets the foundation for your channel.. pretty early into watching I had a feeling that even though you were not the most viewed that you were close to the pulse of where disc golf is currently and is headed! Content creators prop up the sport so much more than most people realize. Manufacturers and Tours can have the shiniest, coolest, hypest, most attractive product but at the end of the day disc golf is rooted in community. Without that it's just another trend. Thanks for doing what you do man 🙌

Filming at Water Works is a bold strategy. I only play there when I'm mentally preparing myself for an intense cardio workout.
Having a signature disc is basically every players dream that plays the game even on the level of going to weeklies sometimes -serious.
I am a super beginner but the Rally has been my go to disc for alot of shots ever since I got it. I absolutely love it.

I think the next big thing will be the big brands hiring content creators to create for them, rather than those brands supporting independent channels, though. Smaller brands will probably do more with independents, but there's always a risk of smaller brand problems becoming influencer problems. Fans only overlook so much, so I really hope it has the effect of pruning out those who aren't 100% on the up and up. [I really just don't want Disc Golf CZcams to descend into full hot take algo-chasing. 😅]
Foundation style, I agree. It would make sense for companies to hire on creators. Problem is creators that already have an established channel arent going to want to walk away from that and work for someone else unless the money really talks
@@Jaden_Kouba I think they'll probably hire them before that get really big and allow them to develop as a brand person. DD basically did that with Danny and Anthony, even if they've walked back their video content in recent years.

I found the Rally to be at least 8 5 0 1 in my experience. Just shy of the stability of my TeeBirds, but definitely more beefy than my FD and TL. That said it's a balanced fairway driver that will basically flight straight and true until that fade kicks in towards the end.

Jonathan at Lat64 is hands down my favorite content creator. I think he is a prime example of someone who has great talent for making content and using that towards disc golf vs. a great disc golfer learning to make content.

You’re a winner, and you’re a winner. And you’re a winner. David, I believe that content creators should get sponsorship from wherever it comes, even if it is a manufacturer. But I worry about the impartiality of it all. I watched a Foundation Disc ‘In the Warehouse’ video a few weeks back and just skipped through anything Brodie had to say, because he was only talking about Discraft discs. Which is fine, but I wouldn’t take a recommendation from him regarding a Discraft disc ever. He is paid to say nice things about them. I want to know about the flaws, or potential flaws (ie the Athena is too deep for my grip) before spending my money. I was happy when Robbie left the Innova umbrella. Since then, he has actually said nice things about the Berg. Yes, if a company offers to sponsor a stamp for your channel, I would buy it to support you. If it turned out to be an Athena or Destroyer it would just never make it to my bag, which would defeat the whole idea of advertising/sponsorship. PS Haters, Any disc mentioned above was solely used as an example. I have no bones with any manufacturer.

This is something I've been watching in the sport for a minute. It's clear the players with the best media presence are the best investments, particularly the ones that aren't top pros. The money they pay the creators for sponsorships is not the same as a top pro, so it's almost a no loose. Things are good when the incentives are there for both parties.
I think you're probably selling people on more new discs than most of the pros. Shop Apollo!
You only have to look at what’s happened in the golf CZcams world with creators like Garrett Clark at GM Golf / Good Good to see where the future potentially lies.
