I know there are much larger issues being discussed here, but I am so happy to hear someone in the news object to the term "truths." Just because Twitter had a cute name for posts, doesn't mean every social media platform needs one--its just a post. That's what almost every platform calls user created content. What's more, calling any post a "truth" suggests that it is in fact true no matter what is being said, which can cause confusion and inadvertently give the appearance of legitimacy to lies. We're struggling enough to communicate the truth these days, and the value of truth. We don't need to muddy the waters further in the name of cutesy terminology.
