Is Saudi Arabia really reforming?

  • How much is Saudi Arabia changing? Women can now drive and some laws are more relaxed - some say they feel like they're 'not in Saudi Arabia anymore'. But not everyone agrees with the changes.

      greathey1234 you answer me in English using technology begun in the British industrial revolution, on a computer devised originally by an Englishman called Charles Babbage and brought to operational usefulness by the British during WW2. Even the internet is the invention of an Englishman, Tim Berners-Lee. The Magna Carta written in England in 1215 provides the framework for many of the world's democracies. That is a tiny fragment of the thing Bitain offered the world...Saudia Arabia gave us Islam...Not a blessing at all considering that cult has the world record for the longest war in history and continues to slaughter anyone and anyone who dares speak the truth about it.

    Something tells me they have only “reformed” in so quick a period of time is because sod the video evidence that has emerged and the tariffs enforced on them as a result of their human rights abuses. I think they are the same extremist state they were before, they are just more careful to hide the real terrors they submit their people to. It also depends on the cities you visit and their commercial influence on Saudi Arabia. If they are cities where commercialism is key to industry they are obviously going to make things more internationally appealing and accessible. It’s very easy to be fooled by these reforms.

    MBS is a Liberal Rationalist and he must stay in power for as much as possible time then a religious person who might take the power if MBS didn't handle pillars necessary to remain in Power. MBS should only be replaced by a person who is more modernist and rationalist and not by a person more religious and fundamentalist.

      Jamie King French Wars of Religion - The French Protestants and Catholics spend 36 years massacring each other silly. 3mil deaths for Christianity.
      Thirty Years' War - Protestant and Catholic princes duke it out for control of the Holy Roman Empire (modern Germany). War is waged between mercenary companies that loot the countryside to support themselves. One third of Germany dies. 10mil deaths for Christianity.
      So that's 15 million deaths for Christianity and a mere 2 million for Islam.
      But in the year of our lord 1850, a new challenger blows them both out of the water

    • @greathey1234
      @greathey1234 Před 5 lety +1

      Jamie King Corrupt leaders are what holding these countries not Islam. In fact, while medieval Europe was destroying itself, Muslims under caliphate rules were prospering. I don't expect an islamophobe to know much about history or anything

    • @j.akingston2035
      @j.akingston2035 Před 5 lety +4

      Europe no longer takes its religion that seriously anymore and that’s why It prospers more than then Muslim Countries today.
      And I know your history better than you do. Muslims to this day say that the failings of there people is simply down to them no longer conquering and converting other countries. And that the Technological boom That you had in the dark ages was simply recycled discoveries from the ancient Greeks. Islam has done nothing for the world.
