Absolutely but if I go to China,I won't become a Buddhist. People also need to understand that.Women in Saudi don't know another life. That is why they stay.If they knew the freedoms they could have...let's not forget the pricesses who tried to literally run from Saudi. Many of your women dream to have the freedoms that Western women have and that is a fact. They follow American tabloids and newspapers, because they are interested. Many women marry within an arranged marriage to a relative.Aside the fact that it isn't healthy and it's just gross,it's not a love marriage.Your wives will never ever love you. That's why they bring a few kids into the world and then request a house of their own. Then you marry a 2nd wife.Nobody's perfect, but give girls the choice,a real choice and you'll see that 90% minimum, will not choose to wear a burqa, hijab and so on.

@@ifra99 I believe more like a change regarding the overall society. Don't get me wrong, I'm also muslim and I'm moroccan, we also still have lots of issues and some "forces" that might overtake over us if we didn't have a neutral kings on social matters (like your crown prince, God bless him), that being said they're more and more minor in our country, we just need to keep moving forward. It's not a matter of wearing a headscarf or not, a woman should be free to wear it, not "expected" (meaning there's an invisible pressure from family) to do so. Still, even the headscarf matter is minor for me, as long as it's not enforced by the state, it's fine, we need to give time for people to wear it or not. In Morocco, we have issues like authority over the children, it's automatically given to the father and his signature is needed even if we want to move a child from a school to another, a woman can't travel with her own kids without the approval of the father. But the dad can do all that without the approval of the mom, he can also withdraw money from the bank account of the child even if it's the mom who saves for him/her. We also have the issue of the marriage of minors, it's not like before but it still happens, we also need to address that and just make it illegal.

I've been and worked to Saudi Arabia for 13 yrs. I should thank Saudi bcoz it helped me to become knowledgeable about other culture. Seeing them ang mingling with them. They are normal people like us. It's just that they have a strong religious culture. I've met good and bad ones. Not to mention their beautiful faces. I know deep down that there is somehow a little cry for freedom but whatever it is. It is theirs.

Men are the maintainers of women. No where in Islam does it say women are slaves or men are their masters. Women can own property, have their own money etc. This means that fathers, brothers, husband maintain and protect the woman in their woman. Whats wrong with that??
In my humble opinion, the West is far from being the worlds's moral police, to determine what is equal , fair, right , or wrong. There the men have become women, women are men, kids can divorce parents and I wont even go into the whole transgender thing!! In addition, most deny the existence of Allah in the name of science and advancement. The world has a lot to learn from Islam.
The most beautiful thing about the Kingdom is :
      1. their family system is in tact
      2. they have a firm moral base

Saudi isn’t America. Period; the cultures are completely different. Yani- we should honor our similarities but respect the CULTURAL differences

I love the strategy behind Norah's outfit for the interview. A pants suit, with a masculine wide lapel, and form-fitting. The hair, not pulled back, but firm, long, and touching the face. A perfect look for questioning Saudi leadership in regard to their policy and culture on women.

A strategy that won't work outside her culture. Leave the East to the East and the West to the West. Doing otherwise is a waste of time and effort.
