After 30 years driving a truck the comment you made about driving down the same road is so starting to ring true for me EV looks nice looking forward to following along
Happy to see preparations are underway for your next chapter. Of course you're always welcome on the farm here... if it's not too far out of the way. Would love to see you three again before you depart. Keep in touch.
Really hope all your preparation goes smoothly for you guys and look forward to watching you on your all your new adventures.
Exciting stuff. Good luck and have fun!
Thank you very much for answering my question about where have you been! I am happy that you are traveling farther away not that we want to get rid of you, but I will be able to see places through your eyes that I know that unless God performs a miracle I will never be able to go to. So I'm excited about that. I'm thanking you ahead of time for all of the adventures that you're going to take us on as you traipse through other parts of the world. I wish you well, I wish you Joy, and above all I wish you health and happiness in your new venture!
Wow!! Can’t wait for the adventure to start. You guys are awesome. You should have 1,000,000 subscribers by the time you finish this incredible journey. Safe travels😁😁
I'm sure you have explored all your options...but FYI there is a shipping route from Cleveland, Ohio to Antwerp, Belgium. Direct flights have recently been added to Iceland with connections to all over Europe. Both WOW and Icelandic Air allow for time to be spent in Iceland for several days before your connecting flight, making it an interesting route. Just thought I'd throw it out there! Looking forward to your adventures!
Thanks, for bringing us along on your...GREAT ADVENTURE.
...And educating us on the whole process.
How exciting......I'm really happy for you guys. 😁 And I wish y'all the Best on your new adventure.
Love how you picked this new home. Very Inspiring. Would like to size down. Great idea on sending boxes. Thanks for all your info.
Great world traveler. It is the right size for over seas. I wish you all the best including safe and healthy travels.
Exited for the future videos with you guys, keep it up.
Good luck on your exciting endeavors!
You have found the ultimate vehicle. I love the low mileage. The 5-speed manual transmission. One day I hope to own something like this. I have no doubt it's worth every penny.
I have the same 2007 FG140 for 4 years now. Great truck. One thing you need to look after is the seal between the Transmission and the Transfer case. Check your transmission Oil often. When the seal goes, the majority of the oil goes from the transmission into the lower levels of the transfer case. leaving your transmission dry or with way lower oil levels. This is one of the most common big dollar costs you can Encounter. If you go to the "Mitsubishi canter 4x4 owners" facebook channel, you will see that this is a common event. The Main symptom would be oil leaking out of your Transfer case breather vent. Also the EGR does fail on occasion. So having the blanking plates on hand will allow you to block it off on the road if need be. Best of luck on your future travels.
Thanks for the intel Tim. I'll keep a look out for those things. The perfect vehicle doesn't exist, but for the price I think we found a great one.
Rock on guys!!!!! Good purchase!
Very happy for you guys. Well deserved! If you have the rig the last weekend in June, swing by Plains Washington for the NW Overland Rally and show it off! Lots of EV's and vendors to get ideas from.
I love the artwork on the side of that thing!!!
Great video kids...I am excited...
Awesome rig guys... Looks almost as fun as a fully tracked armored vehicle. I guess they would kinda frown on that going thru Europe and all... Keep 'em coming
Sounds exciting! Looking forward to your continued adventures! In regards to a question one viewer had, if they were asking about purchasing a vehicle in the US for use (licensed) in Canada, it does have to be exported from the US and imported into Canada. Not a big deal but you may need things ahead of time like a recall clearance letter from the manufacturer, meet Canadian safety standards, etc. and likely pay sales tax applicable to your home Province. Easy but check ahead of time. Oh, and hubby Dave votes for "Denali" :-)
Congrats! Very exciting and ambitious. We are hoping to be full-time within the next month. If you come thru Nashville or Kentucky, let us know if you do a meet-up. We may have parking available on a family farm if needed, expertise is more novice however.
Alsome video! I would love to be a world traveler. There's so much in the world to see. Looking forward to your future adventures.
Very exciting guys. I kinda like the green...lol...but you will make it yours for sure. The superwide single tire for the rears are really common and is the the way to go for sure. Let r rip.
EGR is not used to reburn exhaust gases, like most people think. It is used to lower the combustion temperature so the engine produces less NOx. These gasses are produced only in high temp combustion. Since exhaust gasses already burned, there is no more oxygen in them and cannot burn a second time. When they are added to the air intake, they in fact replace a part of the « normal air » that the engine breathe and since it can’t burn, the result is a « weaker » combustion that reaches lower temps and that makes a lot less NOx
You are more than welcome here you three. All the hand tools you can use, table saw, compound miter saw (couple of chain saws if those do not work), AC/DC welder do not have a MIG though. Would only have to load our TC and move it and the boat across the street to Mother in laws. Do not have any provision for dumping tanks. We dump at the state park on the South side of the Siuslaw, it is free. Only drawback is we are an hour away from any decent parts supply (as you already know from spending the night at the casino after the tree fell on Nellie). If all else fails, we would love to see you before you head across the pond.
I just had a visual of a Pet passport being a Bad Photo and a Paw Print. :))
This is a great video, because it covers the information about the vehicle. The Wynns were a lot of fun when they were buying the boat and learning about it. When they were going to places I knew about, I slowly just lost interest. By the time they were crossing the Pacific, which sounds great, they had no bandwidth and it was clear it wasn’t all the interesting (after all).
So I can see where you spend more for the vehicle on the theory that you are buying some star power for the series. Some of the fix up might be interesting, the Undo it Yourself, stuff. It could take a while to get to Europe and get the vehicle over there. It seemed like you said the first period, a long period, would be in Europe. Don’t know how interesting that will be. There are so many travel programs. The world is becoming homogenized. Maybe you will see the grand opening of the first Home Depot in Pakistan.
Crossing Asia would be interesting, but I don’t know how you do it, at least in the rougher areas and the less stable areas. There’s a lot to India. There are a lot of countries really coming of age. Africa would be interesting, but it might be hard to say you are just there for the scenery.
It’s interesting about the decay rate for Alaska scenery. I live in a beautiful part of Utah, but it’s all a bit much after 20 years.
Denali Rogue,. "D.R." for short.
The Great One(s) going Rogue!
Have fun no matter what you call her. Thanks for taking us along!
It's true what others are saying. As an American living in the country in Andalusia Spain I can attest that there are many roads that are almost too narrow for even two small passenger vehicles to pass. Not like the wide open spaces of the good old (or used to be) USA!
Nice video guys. 👍👍
Best wishes
in your future forever travels.
😊😊🐕👍☀️🚚🌍🌍🌍🌍🌍👍🙏🙏🙏🙏
If you get to northern Wisconsin I have land with water and power at our weekend getaway. We have a park model camper. Extra 30 amp plug. I have a lot of wood working tools. Welcome to stay as long as you need.
Another thing that might help you on your travels. If you do a Google search for 2005-2007 service manual. There are a few pages that offer a digital download. Its about 175 mbs in size. I have had to use mine a few times over the years.
The previous owner is sharing the service manuals via cd and pdf.
He also is including extra lug nuts because shops regularly strip out the reverse thread and parking brake shoes because it’s easy to drive with it on, due to the low end torque and indicator.
It will be fun jumping into a new vehicle and learning it’s traits and characteristics.
I keep thinking of unique things particular to using this truck that i end up using a lot. One is getting a Torque Multiplier for taking off the wheel nuts that are often torqued up to and beyond 300-450 lbs. They are around $70 on Ebay and worth every penny. I have been to tire shops and they wouldnt help because they didnt have Air Tools that could deal with the high torques and large metric sockets. Until i showed them the multiplier. At which point they then had the ability to then do rotations using that tool no problem. It beats having a 6-7 foot steel snipe bar kicking around in your truck also the multiplier is so easy you dont need huge mussels to use it.
Ben ... a lot of cool shh ... stuff?? LOL Sure sounds like it. Looking forward to the next phase of your adventure including the renovations and "victory lap" before heading overseas. Of course if you're in or near the Niagara Falls/Buffalo area you have to let me know. I'll travel a few hundred miles to hookup with you both and share a meal or two. If in Niagara Falls, ON you will certainly have a place to park as well. Wish I could offer some technical or mechanical/electrical skills to your renovations ... but that's not my thing. But I'm good a fetching this ... and they have a GREAT restaurant near my place that has great Bison cheese/bacon burgers. And a Mexican place that we can all try ... never been to it ... but it has decent reviews.
Really looking forward to this next phase of your journey ... "laissez les bon temps rouler".
Congratulations guys. Let us know where your Victory lap is going to take you. You're more than welcome to hang out in Colorado with us. Would love to meet you guys.
If you can plan it right, shipping stuff from Akaska to Seattle will get everything to the lower 48 in 1 box.
Please give us a heads up on places. We might be able to catch you coming around.
Hi guys, love your videos. Hope you are having lots of fun with your new vehicle. Glad you finally found something you are happy with. I have a question about the truck itself regarding low gear. I’m familiar with locking hubs as well as general operation of 4x4 but I never owned a Fuso before. I have owned and worked with jeeps and Land cruisers. My question is the handle beside the drivers door , you mentioned that it’s to engage into “4x4 low”. I’m wondering if you are hundred percent sure of that. Reason I’m asking is that I found a local Fuso (1997) for sale which I’m planning to put a camper box on and it’s not in really bad shape in general speaking. Transmission and engin is in good condition but owner told me it does not have low gear and transfer case but It has the same handle on drivers door. The owner claims that is to engage the PTO Winch. Now I’m very confused after seeing your video. Which is which. Note: the button that says on/off with 4x4 sign is also on the dash exactly as yours. The owner says that button is to engage to lock the rear axle to the front which we all know as Centre locker which of course does not do anything unless the front hubs are manually locked. So my main question once again is : is the handle near driver side door indeed to engage the 4x4 low gear.
Thanks a bunch for your help and wish you a very happy new year.
Benoit
LOL Ben, you got a good point there.
But if you get down to Southern Spain, give us a shout. We're on the road to Trevelez.
One of this days I’m seeing myself in this beautiful all alone ol over world
Hey guys, great videos on your adventures. What kind of cameras do you use to do your videos?
We vlog on a Sony A6000, fly a Mavic Pro and use a GoPro H5B for action shots.
I considered shipping everything to a place we are looking to buy a new RV. We decided to load up the car trailer and haul it with our SUV that ill fit in the trailer when we get there. We'll be heading west when you will be heading east. Maybe we'll cross paths.
Why not set up at Rebecca's dads place to do the conversion. Your close to Wichita and KC if you need any special stuff and it's on the way East. I'm sure he has just about anything you need as far as tools. It's only about a day and a half drive from MT. Sounds like you have a good plan and I'm glad things are working out for the trip. I like the photos of the EV and am looking forward to more details. Happy trails.
Top choice WD
Just thought something else. I'm in Savannah, GA and it's a port city. You could look into departing the US here. and I can help you with adding AC outlets from your inverter to locations you chose. I just did that in mine. Plus the DC stuff is easy to expand.
Question, will you add a craw thru?
That is a great looking and clean truck. I am sure you will get your money’s worth , especially with only 35k miles.
`Looking forward to your next adventure! Let us know if you ship from Baltimore so we can meet up with you.
Be aware, in certain cities in Germany, you can’t drive a diesel vehicle with less than EURO5 emission standard. Park it outside and use public transportation.
I like Eve but probably best to live in it for awhile then decide. Best of luck and enjoy.
Very interesting. I bought a newer Isuzu rwd cabover. And did the camper conversion myself.
Congratulations guys after seen previous rigs on your youtube channel this is probable the best one because the size, mpg, parts all over the world and 4x4 capabilities no need to be in a RV park any more, i just like to know the company who built the camper?
Thanks. It was a long process getting to this point, but we finally found the right truck.
The camper was homemade.
If your coming Dow under be prepared for very long drives and not much in between I live there good luck guys
Hi guys I was wondering what happened to the custom rv u were looking at at plan b suplys and what were the pricing? ? I liked a few they had
Is there a pass through from the cab to the house section?
I like the Denali , most people knows of it there in Alaska but not so much in the lower 48 snd Europe. I really think its fitting because its home for the 2 of you. It connects you to your home base.
I live near Greenville , SC and have a 40 Fleetwood Discovery , like yourself I know a little about lots of things . My son knows a lot more , i depend on him a lot on my RV. So if you are close and want to sit a spell. Lol Seriously if you care to stay here for a while let me know.
Any chance you will ship through the port of Halifax in Nova Scotia?
Good luck guys. And be careful. You know what this world is like now. An American in the good old USA is one thing, But an American overseas is a totally different ballgame. Do you have Australia in your plans? I think that would be a great place to visit.
Yes we do plan to spend a good chunk of time in Australia!
I love Ev and rogue. Either will be great names. When do y’all think you will take possession of her?
Beware the size of the roads in Europe it’s a big vehicle
Great video ,.... welkom to europe
Evie popped into my head when the name thing came up.
Aww not captioned yet. Will check back with ya
You should contact Tiffen and see if they would sponsor your new EV and they could do some work on your rig in Indiana and you could sport their logo on your trip
Should've got the pop top so it can fit in a container and access from cabin to sleeper
The container thing is over rated.
Roll on roll off shipping is not that big of a deal. The pop to campers are $200k + used and you’re living in something a little larger than an ice chest.
We spent $88k, will add the pass through down the road and will be living inside an aluminum box.
His and Hers VLOGS cool fair enough cant wait to see you guys overlanding that beast we have those trucks in Australia they are very capable off road i hope you do take it off road to show its true potential a 4x4 sprinter has nothing on these
Hi Guys, great video, just want to throw this out there. We live in Hamilton, MT on 15 acres in the country but only 10 minutes from town, which is about 50 miles south of Missoula MT. We have full hook ups at our house and we want to invite you to come stay at our place and work on your rig for as long as it takes. Rebecka I also have a great sewing machine if you want to make curtains or seat covers. We would love to have you as our guests. Let me know if it fits your plans or you have any questions.
park county MT plates right on....
Hey guys. Happy Memorial Day💞🇺🇸 I think you guys will be much safer in foreign countries in a vehicle like this. If you have the money then buy it. IT'S not up to us what you spend. SAFE TRAVELS
I REALLY like Rogue! (Not that my opinion matters at all)
If you all come to N.C. let me know. Can suggest good beach front RV parks.
The drivers seat and the passenger seat look a little basic compared to Nellie,I'm sure they will be comfy.
The most important to me, what is the engine 4 or 6 cylinders? turbo?
It’s a 4 cylinder turbo diesel. 4M50 is the engine model.
Barrow??
I just found a 2008 Fuso FFM330, but its only 2wd. It is walking distance from my house! Would you even consider a 2WD?
I personally would never consider a non 4x4 chassis. Keep in mind there are 4x4 conversion kits.
4x4 is a game changer.
Could you guys stop in North Dakota Valley City
What is the mpg they are supposed to be efficient and reliable engines best of luck
10-15 mpg, depending on speed and conditions.
Nice EV , Does the box have a/c also or just the cab ? Glad to see Shelby is doing well .
Just the cab right now. We are going to get a portable AC for the interim and see how we feel about adding one later on
Thanks for your reply . Wonder why the owner never added a/c in the box as Utah is very hot in the summer time ?
Seller says he used it mostly for winter camping and never needed an AC. Not sure why the first owner didn’t, but we’ve learned it isn’t uncommon for EV’s to be without an AC. Of the four we were serious about buying over the past 18 months, only one had AC onboard
A/C eats a lot of power. It certainly doable, with a large, preferably lithium, battery bank and a good amount of solar, or a generator.
What do u do for a living
Randy Wilson I also wonder since we’d love to do this but need to figure income
I vote for Denali :)
How do you search for used ? What websites?
In the US: Expeditionportal.com is the best website and in Europe: Mobile.de is the best choice
Some countries in Europe require 2 week quarantine for incoming pets.
Rogue
What about your Dogs overseas.
Call it sequoia
"Our Roque Denali" literal translation.
tools, location, on or near gr8t lakes including received shipping close to departure site & skills of a tradesman. if interested give me a way to contact.
Maryland doesn't play. Don't even take permitted concealed there.
I know most vehicles have feminine names but Eve just does not fit your big Expedition 4x4. Rogue seems like a more fitting name Denali would also be a good fit.
What about your dog in the UK?
Ok I just checked and I thought all dogs had to be in a 4 month quarantine but as long as you follow the proper procedures its not an issue.
from gov.uk
You can enter or return to the UK with your pet cat, dog or ferret if it:
has been microchipped
has a pet passport or third-country official veterinary certificate
has been vaccinated against rabies - it will also need a blood test if you’re travelling from an ‘unlisted country’
Dogs must also usually have a tapeworm treatment.
Your pet may be put into quarantine for up to 4 months if you don’t follow these rules - or refused entry if you travelled by sea. You’re responsible for any fees or charges.
I been around a long time and sales suck .
I like Rogue. Chevrolet already has a Danali.
Nissan has a Rogue! Lol.
His and Hers VLOGS Adam had an EVe.
That's funny LOL.
Alaska and GMC have a Denali, Nissan and X-Men have a Rogue
If it Ain't broke don't fix it comes to mind
it looks like a police surveillance truck
FUSO is Commercial vehicles manufacturer of Mitsubishi not Daimler.
Yes, but google who owns them....

Export tax????????? We can claim tax back! What sort of country do you live in?????????😳
I misspoke, it’s an export fee, not tax...it’s $50-125, so mostly just an admin fee to create the documents.
His and Hers VLOGS I didn’t think it would be but you never know these days. Enjoy the journey. By the way we had one on the farm Try and replace the passengers side seating with air suspension type seating ! When you hit those unpaved roads you’ll appreciate it !👍😁
You two need to stop interrupting each other and talking over each other. hard to keep up with the conversation. And sometimes one of you doesn't finish your thought because you were interrupted
