Well they know their market.. I’m sure the average household income of their viewers is above 250,000.. while no means billionaire status, still a broad base of viewers with significantly higher than average earning potential.

@@lily444 actually he didnt have any work done, except for diying his hair with NATURAL products/subtitutes like henne, just for shows n interviews...he refused to do hair transplants so many times anyone else in this industry wouldve done it, just like his former boss YSL...i came across some articles and reports that he works out a lot and with professionals, he have his own nutritionists and dieterians/dieteticians if thats the right word lol...doesnt eat meat much(may be he became a vegan now) drinks a lot of water and fresh fruit juices...when he get sick he doesnt take any meds or type of chemical stuff, only herbal and medicinal substitutes...he tried fast food once in his life and never ever had any of it again...he takes lots of baths and thalasso therapy sessions and massages, he had his own chefs and masseurs in his ranch...and yea rarely drinks alcohol and likes to sleep very early, as he refused to go to so many events that were set at a late hr..

I was in the same room as Ford when he gave a Q&A session for his movie, 'A Single Man,' back in November 2009.
I did NOT meet him but I DID meet star, Julianne Moore.
I was at the Los Angeles Q&A at Ace Theater.. Seeing him was like seeing a Silver Unicorn with a voice like crushed velvet...
I cant afford his clothing but I do purchase his make up, especially the lipstick. I get so many compliments when I wear his makeup.

Tom Ford clothes are top quality and so classic. They last for years and are in style no matter what decade you wear them in. You cannot beat that. I would rather invest in a Tom Ford outfit than buy clothes that don't last a year in quality or style. But. I can't afford a Tom Ford outfit - until I become a billionaire (yep! pretty soon, now!).

Few things I'd like to know about him, the Tom Ford-
* What was his major breakthough in Fashion carrier?
* Is he a introvert person?
* before starting his carrier in fashion, what was he doing?
He worked for fashion company for 2years after college then he went to Europe to work with Gucci in Italy
I’ve been watching so many of his interviews that I know! He did some acting in his late teens and studied architecture at Parsons, but found he liked fashion much more when he took fashion elective classes. He interned at Chloe and eventually became the Creative Director at Gucci, which later obtained YSL & Bottega Venetta. He is an introvert. He says he’s veryyyyy shy and extremely private, but knows he’s a public figure and can speak to crowds and gives a lot of interviews. He can be quite humorous and down to earth if you watch enough clips of him.
I like him much more after i heard these facts :) especially knowing that he has OCD like an average person ( me) yet he managed to be a successful person

I think he has a vision, knows what his brand represent and what his brand want to be, so he produces products based on these things and that is what makes him Tom Ford. That is what makes his brand different and timeless. I don't think he has competition, because no one can be Tom Ford.
