  • Here is the process for starting a motorcycle with carbs or fuel injection using FINE-C. Before starting the motorbike, make sure that your wheel locks have been removed. Also check for any signs of vandalism like a pulled spark plug of deflated tires that could affect your ride.
    The procedure follows the acronym FINEC which stands for:
    F = Fuel Supply/Level
    I = Ignition
    N = Neutral
    E = Engine Cutoff Switch
    C = Choke/Clutch
    I hope that new riders would find this helpful and a refresher for returning riders. If you liked it, please hit that like button or better yet, hit that subscribe button and I'll see you in my next video. As always, ride safe, and thanks for watching.

    I would recommend opening the garage door before starting any vehicle. Or O-FINE-C

    Nice video, but PLEASE don't park your bike in neutral @1:46!! Always park your bike in 1st so that it doesn't roll off or so that someone doesn't roll it for you.

    very helpful and easy to remember. just got a yamaha ct 175 enduro and its my 1st motorcycle. was double checking to make sure i didnt mess something up wen starting it. only clutch ive ever used was on tractors so its a bit different! still need to fix this bike up like new gears and new key ignition as well as a battery and new kickstart gears. lol, lil bit of work but i have a velo solex 3800 that is 2 stroke...its quite similar! bigger engine, but 2 stroke as well.

    That is a good video man! When I learn my teacher said KNIFE-CSS which stands for Kickstand-Nuture-Ignition-Fuel-Emergency kill switch-Choke-Clutch-Start.
    BTW I suggest when you start a bike, dont just check nuture light, roll the bike a bit make sure it is in nuture because it do have chance that sensor fail and if the safety cut off sensor fail as well, you are gonna have a hard time...

      I've had this happen many times, my bike has indicated that its in neutral, but its not then i let go off the clutch, jerk forward and the bike stalls, gotta be real careful with it.
      (*neutral, not nuture*)

    Just asking, maybe one day there will be a video of maintenance? Changing the sprockets, chains and so.
    Thanks!

      GAMINGFOREXPERTS Yes for sure. I had the chain and sprockets changed on my Nighthawk when I first got it so it won't be for a while.

  • @wizofozzie

    How come you didn't give 2 or 3 turns on the throttle before you started the bike? I usually pull the enricher, turn the throttle 2 or 3 times then start the bike.
