- I know some of you are old Fantasy Battles players thinking about dusting off your square based models, recently joined Warhammer players are unfamiliar with the setting, and some of you are hearing your friends hype up this new game.
I’ve made this video to help you understand The Old World and attempt to explain enough to make that decision if you’ll join us, where to start, and since this is primarily an Age of Sigmar channel, point out some of the differences.

Super excited to see these battle reports and lists.
I'm hip deep in AOS right now but as the armies I want to get fleshed out are in my war chest I'll be adding old world. The rules look interesting and I'm very interested is seeing how to homebrew using both AOS and old world rules.
Great to have options. My Empire is still waiting for its new models so I’ll continue working on the old pieces as well as AoS too
I'm really put out by how ridiculous the pricing is, and I'm from the UK. £36 for 3 metal Yeoman on a horse is insane, it's really put me off. Also not massively into the old sculpts.
I started with 40k, but fell in love with Fantasy after reading the Beasts of Chaos 6th edition book and what had to be the most evil fairytale ever penned as its intro.
The death of WHFB and the launch of AoS did sting, though I was a fair bit luckier than some. My two armies were Ogres and Lizardmen, both of which survived the jump to AoS.
I am very, very much onboard for a return to The Old World. I have a Traditionalist Dwarf army to build and take to war. Khazuk!
I feel you… I played Empire forever and struggled with the vague AoS World in the early days. Lucky I now get to enjoy both
Spent last almost 3 years into Aos and doing tourneys (Gts and RTTs) but its gotten stale for me, starting getting my bretonian army ready a year ago so i am very hyped for old world and all the upcoming content.
We’re likely at the end of AoS 3 as we rapidly approach the 3 year mark. I’m excited for the old world events too

Really appreciate your coverage. Not sure I share your optimism regarding the Legacy Factions but I hope you're right.
Really I see the legacy factions as “not yet”. The story currently is about the Great War against chaos and once that has been told, I see no reason why we can’t go to the new world or far east
@@AoSCoachif you have any info about the legacy factions would you say they can go toe to toe with the core factions. I dont mind a limited roster and rules as long as its playable at least
Ehi, are you planning to add old war mod in tabletop simulator? Game feel amazing and be able to test your army/play with people for other nations is so fun!!😃
I believe there already is a Warhammer fantasy tts mod and I’m sure they’ll update it with Old World

Genuinely forgot how much i love Fantasy - it died while i was on my hobby hiatus so didnt realise how much i missed it! My concern now is when are more factions models going to arrive
My guess is the rest of the core will be updated in the next 18 months… maybe 1 every 1-2 months or 2 every 3 if it’s a duel release. Pure guess

Is there any online digital list building tool we can expect points to be released to soon? Im looking at battlescribe and hoping they do something maybe?
I haven’t heard of any digital apps coming for Old World but I hope they do.
Are you going to be doing any old world content going forward? I love both formats as a old fantasy player and current aos player

And that’s totally fine. I don’t like Magic the Gathering because I don’t need more cardboard in my life but others enjoy it, and that’s cool
