This guitar needed a little bit of TLC, but I was able to turn it into a pretty sweet playing axe!
Thanks for watching!

Damn I love the sound of these guitars. Great all around sound setup... I also appreciate your comments about the fretwork. I will be prepared. Thankfully I just got a lot of fret tools from MusicNomad and StewMac, so maybe this is where I start digging in and learning technique. Either way, too cool a guitar to not be played and sound great.
Thanks!
Great Lord 3 Days of Shipping!
2:33 Beautifull Work!

Thanks!
Sounds awesome after you gave it some tlc🤘
Just a reminder if your not familiar they have a US store on Reverb for futer purchases maybe
I notice you bought yours last year (2023). Has HB/Thomann addressed the grounding issue on these yet? Do you notice noise/buzzing when plugged into high gain amps? I bought one last year as a project guitar (already knowing about the grounding issues). I gutted it and filled it with good components and she's a beast now, but I was disappointed that Thomann hadn't fixed the issue with the bridge ground and was still shipping them out that way. Not a big deal for me as I do work on my own guitars all the time, but even at $140, you shouldn't have to "fix" a brand new guitar.
I did a whole video series on my build showing the issues and what I did to fix them.
I don't really remember there being any grounding issues/noise with mine. It wasn't stock for very long before I swapped everything out. I bought it with the intent of upgrading the whole thing anyhow. I thought the stock guitar was just OK. Fit and finish was good but the pickups and electronics had to go! Hopefully they've addressed this issue!
I believe they did fix it - the vids that report the grounding are like from 2022 for the most part. I have one on the way so will confirm when it arrives here in like... 10 minutes (Nevada, from Germany).
I have 4 HBs ranging from $225-$475 all are amazing and easily comparable to guitars 2-3x the price
I've bought 2 Harleybentons a few years ago! 1 is OK. The other twisted neck unplayable. Won't buy another! Thanks
I am honestly really sorry to hear that. Sounds like you got bit by the QC monster. I have 6 and they're all pretty enjoyable, some even came here with good setup (basically half way around the world - Germany to Nevada - admittedly the Western world, so...). Given the price vs quality (if a good quality production, then hard to beat) and possibility of shipping back, I'd say don't entirely give up on it. Try the HB SC 550 II custom (single cut) - it's a little monster.
Hey man can u help me with some info...I need to know the weight of this guitar
This one is 7 lbs 3 ounces
@@dmanguitar thanks for the info, great sound and u play amazing man...🤘😎
3:11 sounds like tool
Always amazes me how it takes 3 days to USA but to UK its 9 x days. Ah well.
Another example of us being punished for leaving the EU I’m afraid. Shipping times went up on all the stuff I regularly buy from the continent.
