- Harley Benton JA-20HH Active SW 2023. I guess it could be an prototype and maybe in the future we will see a series version of it.
Best part for me was the satin white finish with an roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard... to often black is getting boring :-).
After the check and test I returned the guitar. Main reason too high frets... the 3rd and the 4th causing noise and would need a leveling job. Another reason was the neck diving cause of the overall light weight of just 3kg. All fret ends where sharp, and the screws to adjust the intonation where damaged. Overall just too much work for to less time available :-). Beside the satin white coloure and the roasted neck + fretboard it is like the JA-20HH Active SBK in black.

I just bought the JA-20HH last week -_- , the neck looks like an upgrade

I hope they fixed the issue bridge and the resulting humming.
ground issue is fixed, hbz active background noise level the same. :) noise gate and it is solved
@@fritzsguitars some kind of noise is ok but when they fixed the bridge it's a good direction
it was not the noise people showed in other videos, like when you touch some metal parts and it is silent...ground issue with the bridge. so i guess the took more care
I hope we will see new st shape alder bodies with flame maple neck SSS guitar from HB
Maybe they will give further satin colours... not only black and white, I would really like that to see

Kool guitar I like it. The only thing - I think it would look better with silver pickups.

how were the frets? I heard the fret work on the JA-20HHs were usually pretty poor

Hi, did you End Up returning this guitar? I haven’t seen it relisted yet, i was about to paint in satin White my black one and get a Roasted maple neck for it becouse i like the black one looks but it is a magnet of fingerprints, but then i look your video Haha
On the day I found this one, there was also a black version with roasted neck. Anyway no idea if and when they will release it. I returned it cause of fret buzz on some too high frets and bad neck diving. How is yours balanced, any neck dive? Greets

I have a black version of this.i was leary to get one after the review. Mine is a good one. The tuners aren't the greatest. They work, but will be replaced.
Think a lot of people waiting for the 2024 line up, I am wondering too, why it takes so long. Is yours neck heavy?
