The initial hill from SW Marine Dr is quite bad and uncomfortable. The lane also disappears around the intersection with W King Edward Ave, and at the end near W 16th Ave. When the lane does exist, you're very close to parked cars so it's easy to get doored. Balaclava (on Balaclava St and Carnarvon St) would be much nicer - and goes much further north - but is a bit slower and less straight.
Continue east/west via Ridgeway on 18th Ave. There are no connections from the end at 16th.
