    Nice work brother. i'm printing a 20 inch long NCC-1701 Enterprise on my Ender 3 as we speak. It's in many parts so i'm 1/2 way done but it's looking sweet!

    Do you print things in scale for gaming?

    Can You rescale one ship to bigger size aka 70 or more cm? Then print in pieces for glue

    • @Rise3DBuilds
      @Rise3DBuilds  Před 3 lety +1

      Yes you can rescale right in cura. Then you can use meshmixer to break it into parts. I have a video on how to break it into parts.

    Whats the best print orientation and supports?

    • @Rise3DBuilds
      @Rise3DBuilds  Před 3 lety

      I found that putting the saucer down was the best one. You can see each print in the video. It was alot of trial and error. I used a combination of autogen supports with customer supports.
      Check out my video on some of the individual prints and you cans see what I mean.
      Thanks!!

      I use a CR-10 V2 as my front line printer. I also enjoy the Odin 5 F3 if you are just starting out. Here is a link to both.

      Odin 5 F3: amzn.to/3qfbkM6.

    I’ve always wondered if it would be worth it to get a 3D printer to make scale models. I want a fleet of ships to scale with each other, but sadly most model kits are of random scale. I don’t want an NX class that’s bigger than a Galaxy class.😢

    • @Rise3DBuilds
      @Rise3DBuilds  Před rokem +1

      You can do it all with 3D printing. I print ships and measure them to a scale all the time

      I am still working on the paint side. I like to take my time in painting and what was shown was rough. I have been advancing with airbrushing and all that. It’s all s leaning curve
