Yeah I think Karl has got it wrong. I think that rather 40-year-old Chinese people look YOUNGER than they are. But then when they get to 50-something, they look like 60. Basically.
As a 29-year-old who looks 19, I can say we do age well...up to a point. You're probably too young to know this horror yet, but when we turn 55 or so, we will shrink and shrivel and bloat and get bad perms. As I watch my beautiful mum rapidly turn into Mr. Miyagi, I know I'm looking into my future. But until then, we have a good 30-40 years of looking young and fresh-faced, so enjoy. :)
