Wait, Gorou buff do jack ***** without a 3rd Geo.
Better with Ningguang if there's only 2 Geo.
I mean all the test still great but using Gorou with only 2 Geo don't do anything.
I know It's better if replace Yanfei > Ningguang. But it's harder combo too. I've much tired to do this video with much clip. Forgive me.

Yes the 20% cd increased is quite helpful.
Still, obviously a non c6 is not as good as a Ningguang.
My Gorou is C6. He give Zhongli 20% Geo Crit (at 2 Geo on party)

If Hoyoverse added a new signature for Zhongli, let's say it would be like this:
Base ATK: 674
HP: 33.1%
Lvl: 90/90
Refinement Rank: 1
Effect: Elemental Burst DMG increased by 20% After using an elemental skill, increases CRIT DMG by 0.6% and Crit rate by 0.3% for every 1000 HP of the wearer for 8 seconds for the entire team. Can only occur once every 30s

The catch is probably the best 4 star option for him bc you dont miss that much dmg more and you have more er (i know zhonglis burst cost is 40 but insta burst is always good)
Edit i have changed my mind about this i use the skyward spine on him i think it suits him high base atk,good amount of er,cr,na speed etc im happy with that weapon for now.
Actually people prefer fav lance to zhongli
Yea the catch is better for burst dps
But catch is one of best polearm and if you use it on Zhongli it would be a waste.

@@SahajNagarwal it wouldnt be a waste you can always use dragons bane on xiangling and the catch on zhongli if you dont have raiden shogun (like me)

When getting the spear you want dont forget to Build your shield (f.e. black tassel is worse in damage but gives a good shieldbuff). Great Video!

In the Emblem Set section, you miss labelled the Engulfing Lightning as Vortex Vanquisher, other than that I love these types of videos, it's so simple and easy to follow.
Still.. must have taken you a lot of time, especially in regaining ults and retrys if not crit and boss spawn cooldowns.
I appreciate the effort and can't wait to see other comparisons with more characters.

I accidentally got vortex vanquisher back when zhongli first came out and I didn't know better. Ever since then I got zhongli on his rerun and I love that weapon on him, can't change my mind it's still the best weapon on him for both stats and aesthetics.
I just got his weapon today with him as well and idk what I'm gonna do bh XD I was pulling for fun on the weapons banner and yeah I got the Vortex.. so I wanna ask you how u use your zhongli.. and which build u chose? Shield ? Dps or burst support?
Idk how much hp I need to get a good shield and I want him to be flexible not only for the shield.
Moreover what about your burst dmg?

@@IdkGuessWhoIam stats are top 3 of the weapons. Homa, jade spear are still better overall
@@younivonccc I use a hybrid zhongli, meaning he’s a but of both shield and burst support. If you want a good shield aim for around 30k then focus on more offensive stats. My zhongli deals 60k-90k burst depending on the buffs given and he has a comfortable amount of hp (31k ish)
But if you want a full shield bot zhongli there are guides out there to help, those builds usually have 50k hp but the damage is significantly less. It’s up to you though.
@@TheEL1te right now he is level 70 with 30k hp I think I'm going pretty good with hp right? Even without the catch I'm currently using he have 120 ER I'm using crit rate circlet with both hp goblet and sand, I will test him out with both weapons and see which one gives him more dmg since his weapon is the only 5* I have right now I gotta make a good deal with it haha.. my crit rate is 55 with 104 crit dmg so I will work on this first, thank u for your help 💓
I got the homa unused and decided to use it on him, his dmg is pretty good
I really hope they add someone who may benefit more from Vortex Vanquisher. It looks the best on him but I just run skyward spine for burst DPS. This weapon was a waste, I should have saved to next banner.

Imo it doesn't even looks like his signature weapon(by stats), pjws is even better and its standard weapon.

Bro i got zhongli on 77.... i searched for some build and this video came up i watched then i hit the sub button straight up best cooperation weapon cooperation video for zhongli.
Idk I better use favonius spear it's pasive just to good vs thouse extra 5-10k dmg cos mostly time you need extra energy for main dps or other sub dps characters.
Now this is what I call comparison.

Depends on you, Vortex Vanquisher really shines if you use him as your main dps or if you don't care for the shield strength bonus and just want the Attack percent main stat.
Use Black Tassel if you're going pure shield bot build

I'll try to make zhongli sub dps/support (high shield strength also give decent damage)...

@@alfandiduana7052 Use Vortex Vanquisher then, the shield strength bonus is pretty much useless but the attack percent main stat and passive does kinda make for it. So for a hybrid support Zhongli, go Vortex Vanquisher

Stand right next into zhongli's pillar

It's called burst animation cancellation. You could do that for every 5 star characters. For Zhongli, its super easy. Just erect the pillar using his skill and have your Zhongli be as close as possible to the pillar then pop your burst.

everybody says about vortex and dmg, but nobody talks about how these weapons' passive are just terrible for team rotation
even jade spear, which is for sure extremely good even today, is supposed to hit several times to reach its full power
and translated, that means you're forced to do it if you want to take advantage of its full potential.. and not only this, it lasts a few secconds before disappearing
it's simply horrible
same with mistsplitter, thundering pulse, polar star.... just crap under this aspect
jade cutter is one of the best because it's unconditional
they have to do weapons like this
