SHOULD I GET A NEW BACK CASE? OR DOES THIS IPOD DESERVE TO STAY GLUED SHUT?
This iPod put up a massive fight to not be fixed...But eventually I managed to fix it. Several dead screens and 5 months of time later and it's fully functional! I decided to keep the original music (from previous owner) on it. Most of the songs I like and there's 3,500 of them! That's a lot even by todays standards. So it was FREE music?

You should keep the iPod’s existing housing that you glued because glued housings are nearly impossible to disassemble.

No joke i had replaced my HD maybe 3 times since 2010, lately i would take it out of my drawer and just play music until the battery would die for about an hour of use, then literally a week ago, i turned it on and all music i had was gone, and “storage space” in the settings say Zero storage, my iPod literally deleted its own HD smfh 🤣
