All I can say is he was everything to our entire gen .I'm 48 now and by far the 90s was the greatest decade for sports because of Jordan .He was the most famous man on earth all because of his greatness...We will never see an athlete like him for a very long time if ever . You never turned the game off even down by 10 with 2 min left you always new Jordon would come alive ... No other athlete before or since wil ever or ever done for there sport what MJ did for the NBA.. thanks Jordan for all the great memories growing up bro !!!!!!

MJ had unbelievable vision. Some former NBA Players like Shaq, Rodman, & Ray Allen think Michael could average around 50 pts per game in today's NBA. An increase of his personal best year and average from 1986/87 with a 37.1 ppg.

Think about it like this. The number of Hall of Famers and legends that he was playing against and he did all of this on them. Just awesome.

I've got to give Starks his due. He played his arse off trying to limit MJ. It's not his fault that he wasn't in Mike's league, nobody was, but you didn't see him quit every game and ask to be rotated onto someone else. He played hard and just kept on trying, he didn't seem to allow himself to become demoralised to the same extent many other players did if they were getting lit up by red 23. I can respect that.

How many times did we just see MJ use his go to move, the jab-step, to fake out 2 defenders at the same time?? 2 from the Bucks where both defenders ended up out of bounds, 2 from the Miami Heat (one was Alonzo Mourning), 2 from the Cavaliers, and 2 from the Trailblazers … Honorable mention goes to Bryon Russell of the Jazz who got faked out 2x by MJs crossover, then got burned at the clock when MJ hit the game winner to win game 1 of the ‘97 Finals, and lastly, when MJ used his jab-step to shake him free and hit the game winner in the ‘98 Finals…Bryon Russell was the guy talking trash to MJ during the time when MJ was retired to play baseball in ‘94-‘95…MJ warned him and even tried to get Karl Malone to shut Bryon Russell up… MJ made B. Russell pay for his dumb trash talking…great reaction video!

I was 8 and a bulls fan when MJ started playing, the man was amazing compared to everyone else on the court, no matter what he left you in awe of what he could do with a ball. The man was so energetic and explosive from start to finish of a game, barely ever looked tired, but he had other greats on his team that he needed and they needed him. He was and always will be the G.O.A.T. of the NBA until another man comes along and plays with his intensity or more, also he went 6 times and won 6 times. The only man in NBA history with a 100% NBA Championship win record, you would have to go 7 times and win 7 times, being energetic and more aggressive than him for me to say your better than him. The mans attitude and just watching him play, made you want to go outside and play some ball. Just a all round pure legend and G.O.A.T....
P.S. Who ever made and did the edits for this video is a true G.O.A.T. themselves for keeping this video so energetic and eventful like mike was when watching him live or on tv....

@2:18. When Jordan in game 2 of the 1992 NBA finals against the Trail Blazers, hit 6 three's and dropped 35 points in the first half! That was the game where Jordan shrugged in response to his hot streak from three. That was also the same game where MJ came out of nowhere to dunk Scottie's missed free throw. I had never seen that before! I was a Blazer fan but I remember going outside after the game and trying to emulate MJ's jumpshot on the hoop in the parking lot. That was the first time I remember being influenced by Jordan's play to where it moved me to try and copy him. It's an odd moment, but for me I had never seen a shooting display like that, especially when teams didn't shoot a lot of three's per game in that era. Great reaction!

Ask yourself, you can have any person to make that last basket with 2 seconds left, who you going for? This man can do it when it matters. The bigger the stakes, the bigger the performance. That’s what separates the very good from the elite.

I live in NC Rockingham county. I'm 40 mins away from UNC College. I went to 1982 and 83 championship games. I remember watching him hitting clutch shots. Buy when he went to Bulls and his first game I knew he would be great. To be honest I don't think anyone has even came close to his intensity on the court. Also I believe if he was playing now in this Era of NBA, He would average more points per game. I feel he would have a field day and it would be even a better 3 pt game by him instead of shooting 33 percent beyond the arc. And that's not bad I. His Era it's a average rating. Anyway I remember all the great match ups he had. From Boston to Lakers to Trail Blazers to Pacers to Charlotte Hornets to so many others. MJ was feared and that the facts.

I’ll always believe that Lebron’s “Decision” will be the stain that separates him in the goat discussions. It’s always tough and pretty much impossible to compare the greats of different eras, but Jordan was just the ultimate/greatest COMPETITOR the league has ever seen. Lebron was labeled the “king” since early highschool, just feels like he’s never had that chip or extra level that Jordan had, and Kobe also had.
