    Thank you after hours of researching for a new tent the pop ups did not have good reviews so they were out then I try and find reviews with all the test and omg I found this one that actually did the rain test, I have found y new tent and its on the way! :)

    I just got this tent today. I used the ozark trail 7x5 tarp as a ground sheet and the cardboard part of a hanger to prop open the two vents. The tub is thin. Also I set this up in the rain in my yard a few hours later it was dry so condensation shouldn't be an issue.

    Looks really good. The fly comes down really low for a good coverage. Good tent especially if your on a budget. Thanks for sharing Cheers Paul

    Tom, thanks for the video! I was looking on line for some info on this tent when I came across your CZcams! I just found this tent and bought it on clearance for 21 bucks today could not take a chance it would still be in stock if I went home and researched it first.... I am planning to start overnight hiking this spring and did not want to drop hundreds of bucks on a super fancy light weight tent that will be out done in 3-5 years by technology ( which is when I aim to get serious about thru hiking :) I was pleased to see it kept the rain out.... do you still use it and after time has it become "less water proof " ?

    Great video. I never used an Ozark Trail tent before, but heard that they let water in sometimes. Did you seal the seam? Also, I'm surprised that the rain fly covers all the way down. That is usually a feature you see on more expensive tents. Thanks for sharing.

    • @FSAIOWA
      @FSAIOWA  Před 9 lety +1

      MrLoloHunter No i didn't do anything to the tent it was out of the box, these are very well made taped seams, I did a more in depth review on the yellow one, I have never seen these tents in the stores I ordered on line, it has features of very expensive tents, it is a real value at sub $50.00, I am lucky to have two of them, I am not paid for anything you see on my channel I just put up the content because as I buy something and don't find much on it i just want to share, here is a link to my other video, thanks for watching... czcams.com/video/sK8TU_6fuZ0/video.html

    Holy cow Tim, I didn't even recognize you at first. Healthy face of fur! Looks good on ya. Good deal on that tent ehh? I am looking at picking up an Ozark Trail piece of gear this week. I'll see how it works. Take care.

    Do you think this tent would be fine in ND right about now? 20's at night. I have a 0 degree sleeping bag, but everyone says I need a 4-season tent, too.
