  • This is my review of the Ozark Trail 2 Person Backpacking tent available at Walmart. I purchased mine via ebay not knowing it was coming from Walmart. I spent $57 on mine and it was shipped here free. You can save more than $10 ordering directly from Walmart.

I just bought the same exact "Ozark Trail" brand two person tent last night at my local Walmart store.
But before I bought this one, I bought the "Ozark Trail" brand three person tent. For a couple of reasons, one is that it was on clearance for some $15.99. The other reason is that it is actually lighter than my new "Ozark Trail" two person tent.
And the footprint is 7' feet by 7' feet with the height of 3' feet 8 inches.
Compared to the two person tent which is 7' feet 6" inches by 4' feet 6" inches with a height of 3' feet 6" inches.
What I am actually hoping to do is, find a way to use the vestibule on the two person tent on my three person tent. Because that is what it is lacking and it just comes with a rain fly.
Oh yeah, and my new "Ozark Trail" brand two person tent just so happen to be on sale for $24.99 which is about half the regular price.
I've already ditched the tent stakes that came with my three person tent. With the aluminum ones and as a backup plan. I also picked up some of the bigger and longer steel tent stakes. That have a little orange plastic piece on the top of them. One side has a hole and the other side has like a paracord type tang on it.
Anyway, my plan today is to put them both up in my backyard. And compare the differences between the two. See if I can put the vestibule on the three person tent.
And while I am at it, I might as well put some seam sealer on the both of them and then spray a can or two of either some Atsko™ silicone water-guard® or some 3M® Scotchgard™ outdoor water shield. On the rain fly and vestibule and that should hopefully help with any type of rain and or water issues in the future.
If anyone of you who have watched this video. About this particular type of "Ozark Trail" brand two person tent.
Have any better ideas about what I want to try and do with my two different "Ozark Trail" brand tents.
    please let me know. ⛺

Cool! Let us know how it worked. I’m still using my Ozark Trail tent and it is still a favorite and going strong after 3 years!!

Cool tent. It’s heavy but you will have shelter when you get to your site. Comfort is better for me. I’m a big guys. I can haul a lot 😂.

I actually got this tent couple months ago, even did a video on it. But your video is much more technical and informative. Great video, thanks for sharing! 👍

Great price for a tent! Heavy of course, which will increase the load on your back when hiking.👍👍👍👀✔

Yes I wouldn’t hike very much with it. I am planning on using it when I go motorcycle camping this summer. I have a 1981 Kawasaki 440LTD 6 speed

Nice review. It appears the rainfly door can be left open during a rain storm and the interior would stay dry. That's a great feature that my existing tent does not have.

I have had it cracked open when it rains but didn’t leave it wide open. For the money it’s hard to beat this tent! Thanks for watching.

Very good tent used year around, mine was not waterproof so put tarp on top, very nice for one,tie those cords on triangle at top so makes it very sturdy for wind.

Dollar store black lite weight rugs ( ugly) works great in/ out of tent. Dries fast.

Haha I found them by accident! So I guess they don’t rate so well in effective communication to their consumers. 😎

You should set it up close to your house and use a shop vac with a bristle attachment to clean it out. 👍

University of Michigan was instrumental in saving my wife’s life when she had Guillian Barre’ syndrome (auto immmune disease) so I’ve been partial to them. When I lived in Grand Rapids I watched Michigan State build some awesome medical college things so that’s pretty cool too!

It's heavy as hell, but $40 bucks was what I could afford.
