I love the double Lord combo I use it quite alot in games to great effect
It worked really well but I felt that I had to part with it for some swooping hawks for greater secondary scoring
The feel like the biggest problem with the wraith units are that they get caught in crossfire of everything else in the meta. Everyone is packing melta, monsters and vehicles.
Dscythes hopping out of wave serpents DOES seem pretty spicy though 🔥

I am playing with 10 Wraithblades with Axe and shields, and 2 units of 10 Wraithguard with Wraithcannons, and 10 with Scythes with a spiritseer leading each unit, one Farseer with Warlock conclave, Wraithlord with twin Brightlances, Wraithseer with Wraithcannon and a Hemlock Wraithfighter.. . . its all actually working pretty well, apart from the Wraithfighter really needs a buff, im only hitting 3 or 4 shots at best, against all the 3 wound models, that seem to be everywhere, your lucky to kill 2 heavy infantry, really wish it was 3 +d3 shots per cannon, and BS3 would be great, it is really handing due to its mobility, for shooting back field indirect units that are camping behind buildings though.
Ya the wraithfighter is a big disappointment tbh

This kind of talk really makes me wonder how Eldar will play once they eventually have multiple detachments, to choose from? Some codices can be a bit more original, while others are basically "you obviously get a this, this, and that options", and I wonder how Craftworlds they'll go, compared to say Astartes? Will we just get a Wraith-based detachment (Iyanden), bikes on crack (Saim-Hann), an Aspect Warriors-focused one (Biel-Tan), and Infiltrators theme (Alaitoc), and/or a psyker-focus (Ulthwe), or will they be a little less on the nose, and more varied, bur inclusive?
Beyond that, as a person who liked Iyanden, back in the day, I'm glad to see they are at least mostly an option that does work.
I actually did a video a bit ago about my codex predictions and I think each of the major Craftworlds will be represented in some way!

You didn't say much about the Skatach Wraithnight use. Is it interacting with the wraithguards, or is it used purely for deep strike disturbance in the ennemy deployment zone ?
I used it to spread my opponents forces out them rapid redeployment. It made quick work of heavy targets and transports like land raiders for my wraithguard to quickly follow up

hopefully more than 3 Spiritseers. If u want to go full wraith u need like 5 or 6. Ofc given the fact that the datasheets stay similar to what they are now

I thought they where moving the skathach wraithkinght with inferno lances was mover or being moved to legends.
They will definitely move the entire model to legends when our dex comes out
it would be so much easier to agree with this video (and the game would just be better in general) if we actually had points values for weapon loadouts
From what I’ve experienced now that MEQ is more popular the d-scythes are worth the cost

@@scoller Yes very meta dependent for sure, I might actually stick with the cannons against that meta
I've been holding off getting Wraithguard as I wanted to try steer clear of super meta units but the last couple of games I've played my Marine friend and lost (currently 10W 6L against him) I've really wished I had something that can tank a little bit more damage.
Is 5 man valid for holding primaries or is it worth going for the big 10?
I think a 5 man can hold primary just fine with the right support and screening! 10 mans almost feel like too much commitment to me now adays

Dude I really like it! Love the mix of units I think they really work well together!
Only thing I might replace is windriders for shrouds for secondaries or swooping hawks
How are wraithcannons bad??
S14 AP-4 D6 dmg with dev wounds is crazy.
I get the 4+ bs and them being very expensive, but wraiths are basically custodes in terms of defense, they're not that weak.
They aren’t bad at all! But…as a unit of 5 with only 5 shots they are very swingy and the lethal hits kind of messes with the dev wounds a bit
