It sounded like Anaya didn’t want Glenn to give more than he had to give or be more like Yvette but to just be more present on her birthday date. Our children notice everything. It’s called accountability- acknowledge her feelings and apologize for not being more present. And explain that it’s a busy work day and maybe offer a way to make it up to her. 🤷🏽♀️

I think in this season in life, I am responsible for filling my cup by loving Jesus and taking care of the temple He has given me. It's from the overflow that I am able to love others. I gladly receive love from friends and family, but it is not an expectation. There may come a time where I can put some of the responsibility on a husband, but for now it's me and Jesus and I am loving the sweet spot that I am in.

As grown folks we don't understand this and get in our feelings when we're told "no, sorry can't." That's a Word for leaders. Knowing and understanding limits is leadership. Setting your daughter up for success as a person and in her relationships at six. WOW!
Loved the episode! Maybe you can do another one just based on couples and give examples of what they can do for their partner based on the partners love language to make deposits into their cups

Glenn, As Much as this may make you feel out of place! PLEASE understand that, You are the prime example of a good man in your daughter's eyes. When she grows up, she will look for a man just like you, to spouse.
I believe it is beneficial For a father To have "daughter dates" so that she understands how a real man, treats a lady. If you can't always Be present then show her on days that you are present, how she should be treated.
I grew up with 6 brothers as an only girl. 3 older and 3 younger....I really could have used times with my father....🤷🏾♀️
Make your time count with her.
Oh.. maybe that email was me.. I can see how it just sounded like a thank you, but it did end with an ask.. if you could do an episode on your season with multiple babies.. I’m 33 weeks pregnant with two toddlers right now and even with a nanny/housekeeper helping out during the day, it is ROUGH.
Interesting thought that it’s not my sole responsibility to fill my cup. But for my situation.. that feels impossible. Gave me a lot to ponder, thank you.
