i think this worked so well between them because they are obviously very insightful, open-minded and down to earth people. i love asking people questions like this all the time and often thats how i form some of my best connections! Yet i realize many people also shut down when being asked questions like this because they are too scared to show who they really are or simply dont even seem to understand. sharing a similar world view as someone (which they seem to do) really makes bonding with someone (even a stranger) so much easier.
This comfortability is not easy to have but when the woman is so down to earth it becomes easy to converse this kid taught me a lot just watching his eye contact his attention to the details in what she says perfect in showing a woman your interest
