So lovely to see people been called up to dance on floor on the stage. So cool rock the boat beautiful diso song remember this from the 70s now 62 still dancing to it memories of good time never fade away.
I played in a dance band in the summer of 1974. The first two popular songs from the new genre called ‘disco’ we were aware of was this one from the Hues Corp (recorded in 73, released as a single in 74) and Rock Your Baby by George McCrae. We quickly learned them both and they became dance floor magnets… The George McRae song was on TK Records out of Miami and was written and produced by Harry Casey and Richard Finch. Along with guitarist Jerome Smith they found a catchy, danceable sound on George’s #1 hit and 6 months later had their own #1 as KC and the Sunshine Band doing Get Down Tonight…
Great song. Unfortunately, they probably stopped playing this song in roller rinks because since 2005, guys probably became paranoid that someone would pull their pants down. 😂🤣😅😆😁😄
It seems that this guy must be the 3rd or 4th (or maybe 5th) lead singer of this same song. I've seen so many clips of different lead singers. WOW. But he does a good job.
@@FabioDubaixo You're right ! The song was first featured in their studio album Freedom for the Stallion in 1973...It was released as the third single in 1974...It's a 1973 song !

Man, Chris Rock is looking young and singing soulful. Humour aside, that is one smoking bass player.

Guitare is beautiful too....this lead singer was good too,but what a shame one original left group
This vid is not from that year, this is not the OG lead male vocalist. this was when the song was old probably early 80s.
You're right, but the year on description os about the Record studio year
