    Really great and informative video. I've been wanting to see the menu layout. Looks like Ariel did a good job of it. I hope Ariel notices that it is Bigteedo_EV spreading the word on the new Kepler. So I just told em in email.

    Not sure yet what is available but they should offer some Street Fighter tires that are better for grip in rain or just cornering.....and some more motorcycle style Knobby tires for off road. Should be a collaboration with off road oriented front fork company to change out the front forks to give an additional ride quality and rider weight adjustments.

    Ok received my Kepler today. I ordered the rear basket a few weeks ago when it was in stock. Not sure if I like the basket though. It will hold 2 normal size grocery bags. There are cheaper and larger racks available on Amazon and eBay. A nice set of panniers work for grocery or store runs and the center of gravity is lower.
    So, I set my controller to 34 amps my kph to 99 and put 30 psi in the tires. I'm 220 lbs and can easily cruise at 32-35 mph. Max speed driving down a flat straight road was 37 and controller said I hit 40. I missed seeing the 40 mph on the speedo when I was driving. Battery was not even fully charged. It went straight out of the box, put it together and test drove it.

    @Bigteedo_EV Hey, I have found the app that they reference. It’s available on the PDF version of the Aerial Rider Kepler manual. The name of the app is BikeWise Pro and you use the QR code on the display to connect it to the app from within the BikeWise Pro app. Glad to see someone in the DMV area other than me with a Kepler. Oh one mor thing- It actually will update the firmware version on the Display.

    Nice vid. A few comments. Another guy has analyzed the pas/max speed function, the pedal assist is tied to the max speed so as you max it out the various speeds of pedal assist also go up. For him and me it makes the speed of pedal assist 1 too high. Anyway this vid was a good reminder of the various thus you can change. Ron Nehrig is the other guy. He also did set up an app that controls some features.
    One question: did you change the wheel circumference setting or was that the factory preset? Thanks.

      @@rockwilliams457 You don't have to sync anything up with the bike. Once you have the speedometer app on your phone it works anytime you activate the app. Walking, in a car, or on a bike it will show speed. It only cares how fast the phone is moving.

    Anybody found a cargo basket for the bike? Still sold out at Ariel Rider...

    • @jimmyjames8736
      @jimmyjames8736 Před 2 lety

      If you mean a rear basket to put on the luggage rack then just about any basket should mount without too much trouble. The Kepler looks to have a very sturdy rack with a lot of attachment points. If you look at the rear cargo baskets the various makers offer most of them look about the same or identical. If you want a front basket they can be harder to match up since their mounting has more variations.
