  • In this video I give my first impressions of my new tires, the Radar Renegade RT+. I just couldn't take the road hum coming from my Kanati Mudhogs MT any longer so I switched to these Radar Renegades which are a hybrid tire. Check out the entire video to get my full review!
    I'm going to share with you my 6 benefits to owning a set of Radar Renegade RT+ tires!
    The Radar Renegade R/T+ offer both aggressive and rugged looks with great on/off-road performance making it a combination between an All-Terrain and Mud-Terrain tire and offers the best of both worlds. The cool part is they offer a customizable sidewall. You can choose either the Skull & Piston design on one side or the mud penetrating dagger shaped lugs on the other.
    Available in over 50 sizes ranging from 16”-24” rim diameter and with an option of F load range sizes. All sizes carry up to a 45,000 mile (72,000 kilometer) treadwear limited warranty and road hazard warranty for the United States and Canada.

    Hands down best truck tire out there for the money. They are quiet on the highway. People are amazed how quiet my truck is on the highway with M/T tires. They are also very grippy on jeep roads. I have ran the Nitto Ridge Grapplers which are also great tires but these radar's are just as good for almost half the price.

    I actually bought the AT variant for my 2nd gen ram because i needed all year tires with a snowflake here in Germany. were pretty much the only ones i could get for 16 inch rims and the wheels lookged horendous because they were way too small XD. now i have the 3rd/4th gen Aluminum 20" rims with the same Radar ATs in front and some some used summers in the back for now. was all extremely cheap so who can say no. looking forward to buying a new set of radars this fall loved them for 1 1/2 years on my ram and they still look new and have actually hardly lost any profile.
    They are also pretty good offroad and are generally fun to drive with. glad i picked this brand as my first for my first V8 ^^

    Excellent review. I just put a set of 35x12.5x20 on my Excursion. I only have about 300 miles on them. That being said I have been impressed with the road noise and their capabilities off road and in the rain. The fact they have a 45000 mile warranty is an added bonus. The fact that they are 50% cheaper than Toyos is a huge added bonus. This seems to be one of those cases where cheaper doesn't mean cheap. Time will tell. Thanks for sharing.

I've watched/read at least a dozen other positive reviews & I'll add 0 neg reviews on this company & tires. I was also looking at the Renegade R7 but the RT+ is my preferred choice. A very concise, complete all round review, thanks for taking the tire & effort to post it. BTW, I have a '15 F150 Lariat with a Rough Country 4" lift so I don't think (but I'll post it on my channel) that I'll rubbing issues at all. That extra inch I've been told makes all the difference & for the money & ease of install, was the best choice imho for my truck, I personally think 6" is a bit much for my needs & less expensive as I don't have to other upgrades to correct shaft anhles, ifs issues, etc. Anyway, really appreciate your excellent review, thanks again. I have them on my brand new used 2014 F-150 ecoboost. I read the tires and they're rated at 80psi. I checked them and they were all at 35 psi. So I put more air at 50 psi. Do you put 80 psi on your tires? I'm scared that they might explode on me. The most I've put on a tire is like 51 psi and that's scary too.

    • @daltondrummer
      @daltondrummer Před rokem

      If the tire is rated for that then it's fine. Your truck isn't heavy so your correct 40-50 PSI would be ideal. Overinflated will wear the center tread out quicker.

    UPDATE 2/23/24....I just had to warranty out 2 complete sets (4 tires per set) of the 275/65/R20 RADAR Renegade RT's within 2 months. How does a company sell DEFECTIVE TIRES and not expect anyone to say anything???..............""RADAR RENEGADES ARE 100% ABSOLUTE GARBAGE TIRES!!!!!""
