I was really checking this out on Amazon today, and I think I will get it. My Jeep doesn't have a fancy dashboard yet (2007 Liberty), that's something that my boyfriend said I might get for Christmas (fingers crossed). This looks like it will be a good replacement for the time being.

I am using Echo Auto gen 1. I always wished the mic performed better. I thought maybe it is time to upgrade. But once I saw the box at the bottom, I had instant dislike. To less clutter the front dashboard, I use an angled USB and connect on the hand rest console at the back on the passenger side. The box will be cumbersome in the wire setup.

For anyone wondering if this thing is worth buying, it is very useful for events. I only use it in the car to turn my house lights on and off, but most times I use it at gatherings so I can play the songs of my choosing and others can to.

@@geekanoids people don’t realize it’s basically a portable Alexa device if you don’t use it in the car. I normally plug it to a powerbank and Bluetooth speaker. Great for indoor gym games, BBQs, camping, at the beach, etc. I just bought this for $14 on the Amazon sale yesterday lol
