According to their site the last event was 2006. The land was shut down and they stopped I guess. I would have liked to see more updated footage or a "Where are they now" special. I really love this documentary!
Larping is something I could probably never get into, but I'm glad everyone here is so happy! Fantasy is a little guilty pleasure of mine so I get the appeal. The werewolf costume was so cute lol. It seems like a very creative outlet so I gotta give them credit for that. I hope they continue on enjoying themselves :)
lol, that fucking David guy has like +10 HumbleBrag "Oh no, I had no idea my character was so popular!" "Oh gee! What a twist, my character is the new king of Mordavia!" At least the Mike guy is upfront with his ego
i've watched this several times, and what i'd love to see is a set of videos in how they made their large monster costumes. like the golem, the tree, and the wolf!
@@enahsrellim233 haha. Not gonna lie that’s eases my anxiety, as much fun as it seems, high school as the LARP club president seems like begging for an asskicking
And that's all you do? Don't you have something... better, to do? Nonlarpers normally try to avoid these games, so why do you seek them out? Because it gets pretty boring during downtime or long winded conversations, I'm a roleplayer and even I find those pretty boring.
Tobias Skov leave this one alone. at least a non-LARP-er/non-RPG-er is interested enough to come over and be there. OBVIOUSLY we are far more interesting then anything else on T.V or the internet, and you might be pushing away someone who might have mates that could be interested in joining us or this person might be possibly scouting out the games to create a character?. please for the great gods of gaming be more open minded..... you ARE a gamer after all.
that scene where the lady gets her wings cut off is pretty intense.

As am I. I'd almost like to visit NZ to see where they are and film something
Aw man, that was good times. I miss Mordavia. :)
Were you in this documentary?
LARPing hails from the UK!!!!
I must've watched this video a dozen times. Love stuff like this!

Love this doc. Best one I have seen since Darkon.
If you listen carefully you can hear faintly on the breeze....Moonhorse chuckling.....
Amazing doco. Long live Mordavia.
getting me pumped we have our second larp of the season coming up this weekend shout out from NERO Canada.
Nice to see happy folks having a great time.Great Doc ala Darkon and Monster camp
David, bestie. We were rooting for you.

I agree
RIP headphone users at the screem
fantastic. very enjoyable.
I watched this 7 years ago before getting into laugh and now I am a Goblin named maggot with a great wall band called The Goat riders horde
Very interesting!
This video made me cry. Beautiful
Larp is pretty cool I wish to join a community someday
Nice doc.
Whoever made the decision to cast the characters we followed was terrible at central casting I feel there where way better people to follow
@VinnyLich Thanks
Put this on DVD so I can buy it
So wait.. the dude who slept through the final battle is left in charge of the defense of the land? Wow. Worst steward ever!
that toothless old guy is really laying pipe at these LARP functions huh?
I'm gonna change my name to Larp and that will be the only word I say.
Like Hodor.
I really want to start a LARP club at my High School and this really helped motivate me.
Did you do it?
@@HumpD624 no lol

compared to nero from monster comp this seems to refined
They actually have cute girls around. Maybe I should check it out lol
Does looking just like Frodo Baggins give you so much extra LARP-cred?
+Hannah Caroline I knew somebody was gonna say that. He looks just like Frodo.
Ayo here from spell
The New Zealand accents crack me up. “Excpeected and queestion.
over 15 mins till we see any action.
I'd have thought Elijah Wood got to pretend enough with his job.
It’s no larping matter!
@thewabwab7 Cheers
I am going to start LARPing at Dargarth Seattle, So I find this very interesting.
Autorobo Awesome! I'm also in the Seattle area but I'm too young to join
those suits are probably super smelly
That creepy old guy smoking a fucking cigarette 56:58 while larping wtf
Guy gives zero fucks man - he's just slaying monsters and 20 year old girls while his real life (and multiple marriages) crumbles. He's a true hero.
We can all agree that werewolf suits garbage right
Well played about the "42 year old"...
I know right?! No way he's 42! More like 48-50!
I go to these events and sit in a lawn chair with a cooler full of beer watch and just powerlaugh the whole time

you should just join in and have fun
so you go as a Norse King?
beer baron.
I get the whole imagination thing. I've played Dungeons and Dragons a couple times as a kid... but this is taking it WAY too far!
they're just having fun mate lol there are definitely worse hobbies to get into
The only thing the kids are going to grow up with is asthma if you're keeping that dirty a house
Is there no moderately hot people there?
Jesus Kiwis are messier than Americans!
Also, Tacos and Burritos in NZ? I can't imagine what that tastes like.
that old dude is so pathetic it was hard to watch until you see him with that young girl and then it's sooo creepy I had to stop watching
Time?
"Ah, look at all the lonely people" The Beatles/Elleanor Rigby
and there is no fucking way that he's 42. He looks 52 at the youngest.
20:07
I know I had to swallow really hard to keep watching
