Hey Taras, what you bought is just 1 variety of the MRE. They have different menu for the meals. You can refer to the paper which came together in the 2nd meal pack.
Also, English is the main language for Singapore!

Singapore is summer all year. If you had the instruction Manuel of the MRE, it states you can put them under the sun or in the engine compartment of the trucks etc to get it heated. The fuel is well if you have loads of time to make it really hot.

I liked that mre but because it’s ready to eat you could eat it cold but must taste better hot and i believe the military is issued canteens considering the stove
You're right stove rack, canteen and mesh tin(pot) is indeed issued by the military here in singapore

the meals are meant to be eaten cold even on the move hence the texture. the fire is meant to cook instant noodles and canned food when situation allow, such as a field camp, training camp etc

Mre's are good well past the date. Trust me. Ex army eatin alot of em. By law they have to put an expiration date on them.

I went to singapore years ago, it is an awesome place to explore and visit. Very very clean and neat, shops everywhere, places to eat on the street for just a couple dollars, great restaurants, many people speak english there. They have big straight highways that they can rapidly convert into military landing strips. There are sometimes military ships nearby. Beautiful place.
