    The Honda CL / CB350 family of motorcycles used three different styles of carburetors during their production run. We show you how to identify each type of Keihin carb used on your particular Honda CL / CB350K from the factory. Not all the parts are the same for the carbs and each style of carburetor uses a unique rebuild kit for that particular generation.

    Well… now I know. I’ve been trying to get my 1971 CL350 tuned for a while. I was confused why I had to lower the clip on the needle all the way and it still wasn’t running right. I started looking at jet numbers and nothing made sense. Come to find out I’ve got two right side carburetors, but worse than that, they’re Mikuni brand. Meaning, they’re off another bike! 🤦‍♂️

    Hi guys. Great detailed videos. I like your speed and style, and small facts. Do you have any on a 1984 honda atv 200m. I am restoring one specifically on the head removal. Also can you direct me to videos on a 1966 jawa cz 125 473 model. Same situation on head removal. Thank you and keep up the great work.

    Hi! The shop manual differentiates between three different jet configurations depending on the model year. Can I assume that the styles of carb represent these? Meaning if mine is a late style carb I need to jet it according to the last year's jet specification. In this case a 70 and 105?

    Hello,
    Did Honda use KEIHIN carbs for 1972 CB350 ? Your help is appreciated

    will the bike run properly if you have one mid gen carb and a one later (1973) gen carb?

    What is the difference between a #68 jet and a #70 jet? Performance wise.😎

    Does it matter if I just need a new set of carbs? Because I can't seem to find the early gen ones anywhere. Mine are just gone so I can't rebuild them sadly.

    Do you per chance have a demo for a CB350F (Four) Carb?

    What is the pin hole by the float bowl drain on the 1st generation carb? Mine is bubbling fuel.

    Do you know where you can purchase a new set of fuel inlet fittings(brass) I believe my CV cards are the mid gen style. Thanks

      It will be nearly impossible to find them standalone. You could pull the fuel inlets out of a trashed petcock and fit them to the carbs? They might even be the same OD and fit right in but I'm not positive. Either way that'd be a cheap way to get two without having to buy a whole set of carbs.

      Decided to just have some custom ones machined up and press fit thanks guys.

    This might be a dumb question, but would a carburetor from a CB350 work on a CB360?

    • @Common-motor
      @Common-motor  Před 5 lety

      No they would not. You want the correct carburetors for tuning with the engine and also fitting the intake manifolds, cables and many other pieces. Even if you pick up a bad used set online though we have all the parts to completely rebuild them.
