- Kegs of non-alcoholic beer are hard to find and this is a cool setup to have for a scene with a keg party and the director wants to see beer coming from the tap.

Keep making the content man
@random guy on youtube You thought right.
Now if only you could put fake guns in Alec's movie...oh wait
This channel is a real barrel of laughs.
her certainly taps into what we want
Leave the puns to the professionals please
*90's sitcom laughter *
Good one 😂🦶🏻👍🏻
Quit monkeying around.
You just missed a double pun...."Take a Pitcher, it'll last Lager"
he missed the perfect opportunity to ruin his joke
There’s something so satisfying looking behind the scenes at all your replica props. I never would’ve guessed setting up prop beer keg was so much work.
Excited to see what else you have in store!
Internet: All the best content has already been created.
Scott: Hold my Near Beer.
😂😂😂🍻
Best compliment I’ve ever gotten!! Seriously, thank you!!
This channel is pretty cool let’s give the guy some props
"you can't show up with a real keg of beer, that won't float"
Nice
the amount of prop info i have randomly learned from these vids is insane
The more puns he makes the more powerful he becomes
What do prop masters use as a door for a scene where the actors have to kick a door down? Is it a normal door or something else?
That would be more of a special effects job, and either we'd use a real door that is barely held in place, or build a fake door out of for example balsa wood that can be kicked through, but ultimately it's up to the customer what they want. Obviously, it's cheaper to use a real door than to have someone build what for all intents and purposes _looks_ like a real door, but isn't. Another solution could be to build part of the door frame out of balsa, if the part where the locking bolt connects with the frame is made of balsa, a kick on the door will splinter a section of the wood around the bolt, and the door flies open. But again, we have to take into consideration what would look realistic, we all know that you can't just put your foot through a fire door so in that case, we'd advise the customer to go with a real door, or a door that is dressed up to look like a fire door, but if we're talking a flimsy internal door in an old home, we'd use something like balsa as it would have to fit the period of the house. In a newer home, we'd probably go with something made out of Masonite or similar. If we're talking a thick steel door and an inhumanly strong character, the door could be built on a metal wire mesh covered in foam and painted to look like steel, that way our hero can bend and warp the door. So, there's not _one_ ultimate and universally correct way to do it, it depends on a lot of factors, I hope that answers your question.
@@mace8873 Thank you. That answered it perfectly.
@@3eijin You are welcome.
I hear he gives a lot of props to his assistants for coming up with such a near-perfect solution.
Why do you always look to the side when you do your puns? 🤣🤣
it’s his signature, all great artists have a signature that separates them apart 😉
I'm a dad and still thoroughly impressed by every ending.todays didnt disappoint
This has to be one of the best props you've shown so far. Brilliant idea!
I love the way he looks to the side at the end of his puns like yes you may clap now 🤣
This one is particularly impressive.
Cutting and adding hidden hinged door, filling excess space with foam and cold packs and adding a small keg with portable CO2 cartridge.
And it all works.
Great ingenuity.
Holy crap, that was a lot of effort and thought to get that loophole, well done!
Yeah and the ice was a nice touch
I can only assume the 130k is because this channel is new because there should be millions. I think the prop stuff is neat but people should subscribe for the puns alone
This channel is awesome! Love the jokes at the end every time
I just finished binging Friday Night Lights and I’m obsessed. Can you please do a full FNL short where you show all the props :D
Dad jokes of the year
That dad joke was actually funny😂
Love your stuff man. Keep it coming PLEASE!!!
At the end of all his videos I’m just like “this fkn guy” lmao!
Half the time I like these videos for the prop, half the time I like them for the pun. 100% of the time, I like them because of the guy presenting them.
Thanks!!
This channel is great. I'm loving all these neat little tricks of the trade.
I used to sell kegs of near beer when i worked for a liquor store lol theyre just special order they exist i promise
How dare you! That pun was beautiful
I'm surprise this was was easier than just going to a keg factory and just pay the boss to make a few of those
Would personally love if these videos were available off of the Shorts thing. I'd love to be able to rewind to certain parts of the videos to rewatch that bit without having to rewatch the whole thing first.
just go to his channel and dont click shorts but regular videos. theyre still mixed in w his longer ones but theyre shown in the classic video format
same w anybody btw. i know what you mean, i was soooo happy when i found out you could do this!! instead of the time it shows a lil red symbol on the thumbnail that ig is youtubes way of telling u its a short
The next time teens ask you to buy beer.
Your best Dad joke so far!
I like that saying. Must use one day. Thank you!
God this guy is killin it with that dad jokes!
The take a pitcher joke is genius
I’m disappointed that I haven’t subscribed yet. These puns are too good
These videos are life .
I'm just here for the inspirational dad jokes. I'm taking note!
Your videos are so enjoyable I really appreciate them
I used to deliver beer kegs for a living, and this is really clever.
I've been at a party where they got a keg of non alcoholic beer and switched the labels. The plecebo is real to say the least.
A perfect pun if I've ever seen one
Seems like they take more precautions to prevent real alcohol from getting on set than real bullets.
No alcohol on set didn’t stop the guys making Back To The Future.😂😂
Love the last minute puns.
Thats an airsoft co2 container, smart
It's just so damn awesome the things they make to make movies work
I’m so in love with this channel!
It took me a second to get that joke, but it made me cackle 🤣
“Brewed” up an idea… very cheeky
The far off look at the end 😂😂😂
Two jokes.
This man is insane
This pun has me foaming at the mouth.
That's one way to get ahead in the industry.
Can we see who youre telling these great jokes to?
Id like to see how hard they laugh
The puns are so good.
This jokes and info are next level
"Here's a tip, see: drinking real beer on set is a recipe for disaster. You might think I'm just being a killjoy, but you'll thank me lager."
This is why they always run outta beer in movies. 😂
“You can’t drink on movie sets”
Edgy indie film makers: that sign won’t stop me because I can’t read
I love this. You really have the world best job, great work 👍
Your stupid jokes at the end of your video cracks me up
This guys puns are the best
One of these days I believe you wont have another dad joke for us.
I just hope that day never comes
Valken (one of the best paintball companies.) I see you're a man of culture. 😉🤣
I have to confess, I subscribed and watch your videos only for the puns and jokes.
It makes sense that there is no alcohol allowed on set. But it got me wondering if people like yourself in the prop department often take extra care when dealing with prop drugs and alcohol on a set with actors that are struggling or have struggled with addiction? Being that substance issues are common in the entertainment industry, I can imagine that dealing with fake drugs and alcohol may cause some relapses. Thanks! Love your channel.
That feels like it would be between production and the actor.
If someone is struggling to the point they can't even play a role around fake drugs, they're probably not suited at the moment for a scene involving drugs
I haven't made a studio film since the 90s. At this point I'm just hear for the puns
Anybody else come for the dad jokes?!? Me neither… 😂
Love the puns bro
I just stumbled upon one if your videos and now I'm binging... God.. the puns are just awesome 😂
"SO MY ASSISTANTS AND I-".
the refillable container looks like one of the premix tanks I fill at work we use them to send to restaurants
That was the best joke so far
Idk.. those puns at the end of every video can go
10/10 pun
Can't have alcohol on set, but apparently you can have live ammunition on set
We had near beer while deployed overseas 🤣🤣🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾
We have non alcohol beer kegs here in Spain. A lot of beer companies make them for pubs and restaurants
Correction “near beer” has alcohol in it.
Bruh never thought I’d see Valken in a video completely unrelated to airsoft lmao
damn youve really found a good formula. also fuck the take a pitcher joke works way to well
It might not seem that way now, but pewdiepie has some competition coming...
“only non alcoholic drinks are allowed on film sets” lmfao good joke
Near beer in most places I've been is 3.2%beer. I would just consider O'doules carbonated hop water and not even call that stuff beer.
A lot of light beers like coors light are only 4.8% so 3% isn't really any less. And I don't think it can be sold as non alcoholic beer
@@ipodhty Yeah but I think only in Minnesota now and Colorado while I was there anything over 3.2% was for liquor stores only. 3.2% beer was the max alcohol for beer sold at gas stations and the grocery store. Thank God Colorado knocked that crap off.
it’s usually.5% or less, and as you’ve never drunk it you have no idea what it tastes like
@@TheJtyork420 being able to be sold in gas stations doesn't mean it's non alcoholic, thats just liquor law stuff
@@ipodhty I'm very aware it's not non alcoholic it's 3.2% as I stated and that is what I'm saying people call near beer not O'douls which also is technically not a non alcholic beer as it has a very small amount still in it.
Damn that ending line lol
I think this man just made life hack how to keg any beer
Prop King and the Pun King
So you can't have alcohol on movie sets but you can have cocaine? That blows.
I always think the same two things: clever and ouch.
I’m here for the puns
There's a blooper (pirates of the Carribbean) where someone put straight up spirits in Johnny Depp's double shot scene.
That’s a Paintball tank Lmaooo
Love the dad jokes
Every time I hear “near beer” it makes me think of the one Cosby show episode where Theo wants it
You should sell these! I’d totally buy one lol
When wade Boggs went to appear on “It’s always sunny in Philadelphia” he brought and drank his own beer
The joke got me, SUBSRCIBED
That's a very specific situation
i find it funny how they use real guns to shoot blanks and shit but god forbid a real beer barrel XD
