Welcome to Sensible Secondhand Reviews, the series where we usually take a sensible secondhand car worth between £1000 and £5000 and put it through its paces in a very straightforward manner! This time, however, we test a 2015 Citroen C3 Picasso 1.2 Exclusive, which has one of the only types of engine we can discuss for this type of car.
Be prepared for an unusual dashboard design, aircraft style picnic tables, and very little of any consequence at all. Nothing untoward, then!

Another practical little car from Citroen.
Really enjoyable review as always Sir.
Glad you enjoyed it, sir! This is the only variant I can recommend, I am afraid.
Good Afternoon Sir! I have had two of these . Unfortunately no further comments allowed due to heavy oil
Thank you for your self-censorship, sir!
To my untutored eye that looks to be a very practical vehicle. It seems to be very adaptable, with the sliding back seats, secondary mirror, etc..
I visit a very popular American car website and the host, Scotty, warns against buying cars with 3 cylinder turbo engines on the basis that they will not be durable. I do respect his experience and knowledge in that respect.
I do wish car manufacturers would revert to using woven textile upholstery. I find all this grey false leather, etc. very cheap and nasty looking.
There hasn't been enough time to say whether all three cylinder turbo engines are unreliable, but some of them definitely are. The other engines in this car are even worse, to be honest...
The seat trim looks nice. Is it velour? I really miss velour upholstery.
Not sure, sir, I am afraid...
The Citroën C3 Picasso does look a little weird but the looks hide a very practical car with space and comfort.
The Exclusive Trim is lovely and the 1.2 Pure Tech seems like the way to go.
This it at least better than the Prince engines and the ones which we cannot discuss on the channel, sir, but these Puretechs do also have issues, sadly.
Nice size car, but go for the 1.6 HDi as the Puretec has known issues with the wet cambelt (a stupid idea). Personally I wouldn't touch any PSA petrol engine after my experiences with two Mini R56's
I am afraid that we don't talk about diesels on this channel, as I mentioned in the video (twice)...
These are very popular cars with car boot sellers , that's all I can say about em.
Presumably with the Prince and forbidden fuel engines that we cannot discuss fitted, sir?
Does anyone know what that screen is facing the windscreen? Other side of speedo display.
It just sort of shows warning lights, etc...
@@lloydvehicleconsulting unusual they normally face the driver not oncoming traffic 🙄
@@gh-vi9tk , probably due to the fact that the car would have been designed to be left hand drive originally.
@lloydvehicleconsulting Thanks for replying but not sure if we're talking about the same thing? Near end of video bonnet is up, you can see a lcd screen at the bottom through the windscreen? My friend just bought one and don't know what it's for. It lights up orange.
Absolutely no idea, I am afraid.

Well done, sir!
One the worst cars I’ve driven - all the controls are just so baggy and non defined
But people who buy these don’t care
Got to remember that this sort of car, as you say, is most certainly not aimed at a keen driver...
