On my 2015 Veloster Turbo the turbocharger failed at 129k miles and the car continued to burn all the oil we put in it and it's in the shop for a new motor.

My girl velo had the engine replaced under warranty (13k) . 2k miles later , boost pressure is leaking out the blow off valve , took it back to the dealer and checked out okay , I have mechanical experience and found out the issue was the pcv, dealer did not do anything or resolved the issue of the lost boost pressure ,

How we cheack for a bad PCV? No noise = bad? I've oil dirt on intake pipes walls and oil drops on MAF sensor. Do you think is bad?

Thank you for watching. The best way to check it is shake it. Make sure you can hear the noise when you shake it. I recommend you just buy a new PCV Valve & replace it.. Good luck

Okay not bad of a job, but I have a little constructive criticism, when you put the valve back on you should have put Teflon tape or some-- "Silicone hi TEMP", now you might have a vacuum leak, also you should have took off the hose and spray it with the cleaner too, there is build up carbon there too, which can lead to ruining the hose....
