@@maryegerton6848 I happily would, of course. 🙂 If they would listen but I am not a patreon, sorry. There are tons of amazing places in Naples. However, I do watch a lot of their video and that 's a support. I love most of their choices. I cannot wait to visit them.
Thank you for going to the local, non tourist places that offer affordable prices to travellers that are often on really tight budgets who simply want a tiny taste or insight into certain gourmet dishes so that they can dream while being able to survive to the next town. As an italian i can tell that when in Italy you are not looking for gourmet restaraunt. Most dishes are cheap, trattorias are the traditional way to go and those are usually cheap. Traditional italian cuisine is not expansive cause it's based on simple but fresh ingredients and easy but effective recipes. Rome has a lot of touristy places which sadly charge on you a lot, you have to spot places where the Romans eat, best way to do this is ask them! even if many of them would not speak english. They will indicate you nice places where you can eat not spending much. Never spend more than 12 euro for a pasta, in quieter cities than Rome you will pay 7/9 euros for a pasta plate, same goes for a pizza, usual pizza would cost 6-10 euros,

I had a meal in the via del lavatore literally on the street with the few cars and vespas creeping by our table. I think we had simple vegetable soup and grabbed an awesome photo of artichokes stacked in crates. One of my favourite photos from that trip. This was before digital photos!

As an Italian, it was a true pleasure to _finally_ hear a CZcamsr correctly say "cannolo" for the singular and "cannoli" for the plural! Now it's your job to also teach everyone the same rule for panino and panini :)

Well, panini has been adopted into English as a specific type of sandwich, so not on that account!

I actually like little unknown spots like the cafe by the tram station rather than big touristy spot. I mean, if I can't visit a tourist spot, I can still look up videos/pictures & enjoy that a little. But where else am I going to have the experience of sitting down at a small cafe and experiencing the regular local life of Rome!
