In this video, we are exploring ROME one last time before leaving for another city! We have a huge day of eating Italian food planned!
We are starting the day in the heart of Roma, the Pantheon, to eat a typical Italian breakfast: caffe latte freddo, macchiato and a Sfogliatelle. Then, we are taking you to one of our all-time favourite family-run restaurant: Trattoria Da Enzo al 29! This restaurant has the most traditional Roman pastas - we had the Pasta alla Gricia, Amatriciana, Roman-Jewish fried artichoke and wine for lunch. After some sightseeing, it was time for an afternoon snack. We went to the Prosciutteria Trevi for a mixed board of cured meats, cheese, crostini and pickles. We washed it down with Italian Peroni beer, ending our day of exploring at the iconic Trevi Fountain.

Sfogliatella is supposed to have a bit of a crunch. It’s not supposed to be soft “like a croissant”.
Of course they took the right thing in the wrong place. Sfogliatella is from Napoli. A lot of tourits think the can eat the same things in all Italy. Next time a pizza in piazza San Marco in Venezia.
Yes that's why one is called "sfogliatella" and the other "cornetto" (croissant). They are not the same thing!

A Roman wouldn't even eat it. Going to Rome and eating in tourist places is like going to America to eat pizza.

How lucky...Italy 💚🤍❤ is always on top of our list, time and time again, year after year, unfortunately our trip to Sicily was cancelled a month ago as we live in Uk as we would need to quarantine 😫...Puglia was cancelled just as covid hit italy in 2020 then was my 50 birthday last october In Tuscany...im getting really fustrated with it and look forward to see your vlogs in Sicily, amazing place again lots to see and taste...check little local markets on Catania side you will find some amazing produce ...pepperoncino pesto del Etna (find some harvested on Etna it tastes so good) also the red wine more expensive but soooo worth it and anything to do with Pistachio de BRONTE (Etna village) also they have some amazing honey...peaches tomatoes grapes are the Best there...Have fun

A spent 10 days visiting a friend in Rome and every day I would wake up early and walk all day visiting amazing places. I also felt you could spend a life time in Rome and not seeing everything there is to see and experience there.

Whilst you’re in Italy you should travel to Bergamo in the north: the most hit area from COVID in 2020 but now fully recovered - it’s such a beautiful city and food is amazing!!

And by the way, if I may make a suggestion, when my friends from abroad visit Bergamo I strongly recommend to have lunch at Trattoria d’Ambrosio, a small informal restaurant open since 1943, which cooks the best and most traditional dishes from our city. It is a true institution! The owner, miss Giuliana, is well known and loved by us locals, for her honest and direct but very friendly attitude. Highly recommended! 😉

“Guanciale” is not an “Italian bacon”, it is “pig cheek”. It cannot be compared to either Pancetta or Bacon. It has its own unmistakable aroma and flavor, which is particularly useful for preparing typical Roman dishes.
