Tbh, I feel like they hate the simpsons not because its running out of ideas but because it ain't the Simpsons anymore. The Simpsons were literally a satirical take on American life, but its kinda lost that charm in the newer seasons because times have changed and Simpsons has changed itself to stay relevant.
To be fair, this was one of the best new Simpsons episode! Probably because it didn't have any painful celebrity voice-cast and modern technologies to make it look "modern" and "up to date". I recommend this one to everybody!
They are making too much off of the syndication rights. It does not matter if it is not a ratings hit on Fox network anymore. They are making plenty of money selling the airing rights to the show to channels too cheap to make their own programming.

This show had a good run, but 30+ seasons is extremely excessive for any show, especially when they get this bad. Before anyone says anything, this showed up in my Recommended. I clicked on this out of curiosity. I didn’t look for this. I watched it. It sucked. I wasn’t looking to be disappointed, but that was the result.
