Each year we are a part of @thedunkcamp in Utah and get to work with athletes from all over the globe who have the same obsessions of dunking and jumping super high! Here is some snippets from Day 1 where we took all campers through a great Warm Up sequence designed to ramp up the nervous system, get loose and fly higher than ever!

Hey coach, you've explained lot of times how the torso should be vertical during the penultimate step, but what about the step before that? For example, I play volleyball and my jump serve approach Is 3 steps so I noticed that to propel myself forward I bring my torso forward on my first step (as If I were sprinting) and then I bring It back to vertical on my penultimate step to maximise vertical jump, Is this correct? (I specifically have to do a 3 steps approach because my coach Is making me work on that since Is simpler than 4 or 5 steps)

Yes it is fine to lead. The reason we keep straight torso is because then we dont have to recover the positions wasting time on the ground
