For me, Budo is something one has to practice for themself - but the rewards are granted by your surroundings and the other. Through self-improvement of the individual, it creates the meaning behind 'unity' in the word community.

The word Budo means to me: The Grace of my God, who is Lord of lords and King of kings, allowing me to walk this earth as His warrior of Light. Embracing the ultimate truth that the Spirit gives life, fire is the element that enlightens my soul. Shinkyokushin karate, as an art of budo, helps me to channel that fire into focussed power with respect towards all of creation.
