Few days to go, it's 2019. And still, viewing this channel. I really miss this so much. No one can't beat the effort & creativity. The best channel of MCs LIVE vocal range. No lipped included & very accurate putting of notes. That's why I inspired to make her LIVE vocal range.
Is it just me that actually prefers the quality of her mid belts (A4-C5) nowadays to the 90's??? I feel like they're richer and even more resonant? Just me? Okay.
Ross.White98 keep in mind those aren't technically belted notes, just her standard chest sound sung loud, so I'd imagine they mature more significantly as time goes on than her belted notes
Surprise! Thank you for all your kind comments in the last video!! This is the last video I had been working on since the beginning of this year, added some Beacon Theatre 2016 vocals! Hope you enjoy and see u again!!
The Diary of MARIAH CAREY Don't you think using her vocals from last few years does nothing, but destroy her legacy of being a legendary vocalist? There will be people who come here without real knowledge of her history and wouldn't it be better for them to hear Mariah only at her best? She sounds really bad bottom to top after her pregnancy (ok, there were some nice moments up to maybe 2012), even her lows are sung with dropped larynx, belts are horribly chesty and/or hoarse, even falsetto and whistles are weak, the famous flexibility and runs are gone... You try to prove a point that she can still sing, which is true, but these clips contrast with her heavenly past self. And I am a huge fan, watch and listen to her every day, I love her singing, writing and personality, but I'm also not delusional. I know you mean well and it's not an attack, I just wish you would consider a different point of view. There are so many beautiful lower belts and lows from Rainbow, when she still sounded stunning, despite nodes. On a more positive note, you really worked a lot on it and didn't forget anything. I would love addition of some F4-G#4s, because they are actually not that easy to project so perfectly for a light lyric soprano, some of her most beautiful notes actually.
I think you've missed her C6 from Its A Wrap, C6/C#6 from that group Hero performance, all the "dreaaaaam" notes from Infinity and head D6 from I Still Believe, I also believe she touched a Eb6 somewhere. They prove she actually has a good he's voice, apart from falsetto (you've mistaken some head notes for it). Btw she always shines in group settings, like her belts in Hey Jude and Signed Sealed Delievered D5, she always drowned everyone else out orimprovised killer ad libs
Thanks a lot for such a great compilation. Your videos - is pure bliss to watch. Intro, editing, everything on high level. Also, you were very accurately with notes and find even some rare ones.
Pat Nolan yes Charmbracelet Mariah was literally the Daydream of the 2000s even Debut Era and Music Box have to compete with her. CB Riah was pitch perfect
I love how you included a lot of her recent performances. Not many people realize that she is still amazing and superior to many young female singers out there. Not even many lambs praise her for her flaws and vocals that she currently showcases, which I find ironic as a fan is someone who should support their idol regardless of their current state. ;)
Mariah's a Mezzo-soprano, most of her material and best live singing is done: ( F3 - F5 - D6 ) It's interesting how much range she has, Mariah can go down to Contralto low D3 and C3 and her whistles can go all the way up to C7 >>> F7.
Name me another vocalist who has a the live range of F2-Bb7. Thad more than her STUDIO range (F2-G#7). Mariah is truly one of a kind, a voice of our generation, the songbird supreme, and can never be replaced, or duplicated. Mariah❤️
NeverLand Mariah's hit an F6 in head voice in the song Faded apparently... And her whistle notes aren't technically connected but they're still supported and technically perfect unlike falsettos so they still count
That is not true. Any register that is disconnected CANNOT be supported. Mariahs head voice is very weak and underdeveloped. I often don't consider her a true coloratura because coloratura's are suppose to have homogeneous scales which they passage through with great fluidity. Mariah has never demonstrated that before, so though she very agile (thats a lyric trait in general) she doesnt meet coloratura criteria in that regard.
Neither whistle nor falsetto can be supported which is why they cannot be used to achieved resonance and hence they are disconnected registers. I know you love Mariah but let stay unbiased.
Thi Hills Music He uploaded a video saying he wanting to have a time for himself because he worried way too much about the videos instead of actually enjoying a Mariah concert
I think her comfortable range is E3-Bb4-G#6 I know she’s very comfortable hitting much higher and much lower notes, this is just just notes she’s always capable of hitting comfortable no matter circumstance or year.
manga not particularly. She can hit all those yes, but after C5 she loses her ease. So the range I said represents the range of notes that she can she can still hit with ease and not much effort
@@lucasmartini1192 Yeah i know that dude. Her comfortable high belt goes to E5 or sometimes F5, after that she push it to hit the notes. For her Whistle Bb6 is her last comfortable note.
AndreasChrs what about me? Lowest ( even with a little bit of vocal fry ) F2 Lowest supported: A2 Low notes (F2) A2 - A3 Belting D4 - A4 Mix B4 - G#5 Falsetto G4 - D5 Whistle register G#5 - E6 ( with a peak at B6 but I'm not gonna count it 'cause I use inhale to hit it ) I'm not trained lol My teacher once told me that I was tenor cause my voice is really high for a man and I'm confortable hitting ( w chest voice ) from E3 - G4

7:39-7:50 That's very genius, comparing 3 very different eras but you clearly see that Mariah can still pull it off, it sound exactly the same. Bravo
Nach Bmal the charmbracelet One has such a unique crystal like quality to it especially on the run going down like you can hear how beautifully her voice was maturing I wonder what it must feel like to know that comes out of your throat
3 different decades
Of course not, the two first era sound similar but not the third. She strains and isn’t effortless
@@ylieszeg4106 but the executions were the same, she didn’t cut the note and she added vibrato to it still, considering she’s in the business for 3 decades
NO like really that intro is WOW!!!! I am bald!! Love how you chose each era and wow its just gorgeous

Another amazing video by TDOMC. Thank you for this!
you know you're amazing when it takes 22 minutes to showcase your vocal range
This video took an enormous amount of work so well done for that
Is it just me that actually prefers the quality of her mid belts (A4-C5) nowadays to the 90's??? I feel like they're richer and even more resonant? Just me? Okay.
Ross.White98 I can see where you're coming from but I still prefer her 90s youthful light tone even in that range
I can see why from G4-B4, C5 and up I'd MUCH prefer 90s
Ross.White98 keep in mind those aren't technically belted notes, just her standard chest sound sung loud, so I'd imagine they mature more significantly as time goes on than her belted notes
tartanmusician well it is a belt, it's just a mixed belt with an even mix (chesty quality)
Its just u
We miss you and we hope you enjoy your life without CZcams ❤️ Love you ❤️❤️❤️
Wow the amount of work in this video is incredible, thanks for all your hard work over the years. Good luck for the future, TDOMC :))
Her range is so large !!! Her voice now is soooo freaking good !!! 2017 is gonna be so much slayage

Some if not most MEN can't hit those low notes....freaking amazing
I think Bb4 is her most comfortable note
At present yes, because shes probably a mezzo now.
Presently, but during her prime she invented F#5
@@mrvocal21 I'm not sure her 2019 's range is A2-Bb7 and I think that it's still a "soprano range"
@@flaviocappelli7506 Only 2 octaves of that is currently supported. Range is not the only determinant for voice type.
@@mrvocal21 She has currently supported D2 to C#5 in chest notes and properly do whistle notes in the 6th and 7th octave.
This is the video that made me discover Mariah's song "So Lonely". The song on the intro. I miss TDOMC so much 😭🥺
Vocal experts: Sopranos can't go very very low octave
Mariah: watch me 😂😂😂
i love the intro
Her Bb4s and B4 were amazing in 2014

Has Mariah never done a live G#5? Because I thought that she had for the song ‘Your Girl’
what about the live A5 from her home performance of Heavenly No Ways Tired and fly like a bird
Both lipped. Fly like a bird is G#5 btw
The vocals from Imperfect Angel era are underrated
Why am I crying?? 😢

Mariah has also gone way higher in falsetto/headvoice than B5. Up to Eb6, on multiple occasions.
Very good video. SO her full, connected range is B2- G5 - E6? Thats very impressive

Your just making stuff up as you type along. Go get educated then reply with a sensical comment, then I may take you seriously.
NeverLand whistles do require diaphragm support and if you don't it can sound very strained and your larynx can sky high
so eu que acho ela Melhor qie Whitney ? 😍👏
