I feel so bad for Kevin and Avi, being the bass and beat of the music makes it so hard to adapt that quick. It is so adorable though when Avi messes up.

I have a theory that Avi was holding his head to feel the vibrations in it to help him find the right note.
that would make sense coz he moves his hands to his temples!
I can sing some of his range and holding my head doesn't really affect how well I hear it. It's definitely easier to hear low notes than it is high notes that are resonant in the head.
I'm pretty sure he was simply stressed out because he couldn't remember the note haha :D

You're right about Mitch. He was the first to jump in on at least three songs. He was the quickest on the uptake. But when was Avi "all messed up"? Not sayin' it's not possible, just I don't know what part you mean.
janetranslates he was, maybe it wasn't noticeable because he is a bass note and all his bass notes just fit. I can't be precise but there were parts where it didn't sound like part of the song. But he would eventually catch onto it.
Mitch has perfect pitch so it stands to reason that he jumps in first, and as for Avi (that darling man) he would have to know the key of the song first, in fact they all would in order for it to sound together.
harrystylesgirl_〈3 I see what you mean now. One example is "Don't Stop Believin'." But like Fay Samuel says...once somebody starts it, it's going to take a moment for the rest to find the key. Any way you look at it, though, they did CRUSH it, like the man said, and made us (well, me anyway!) love and respect them all the more.

I think it might of been hardest for Avi and Kevin because they had to do the actual music instead of just singing lyrics

I like how it's all random until Mitch sings and everyone finds the right key and tone because of him. You can especially tell in "Say Something", where he isn't the lead, but as soon as he starts singing everyone adapts immediately.
I know. I remember Scott saying in a video that if any of them ever get off key or forget something, they just listen out for Mitch.
