It's only natural for the people who loved Pentatonix from the beginning to have a strong connection with Avi and that connection is very difficult to break
No hate for Matt at all, his voice is great, but for those of us who saw this in the early days with Avi, his tone was very different so it does change the sound of the song. Not worse, different.

I have seen several comments about the energy of the crow. I have seen some say that it may have to do with the PTS-ish type mind frame of people since the pandemic. My husband and I have been to several live music concerts/shows and the audience has been the same way. So, I'm leaning towards this theory.

Kirstin looks and sounds radiant in this performance! I just listened to the original song a little while ago and hearing how her voice has developed these last 10 years is amazing, plus I think this is the most confident I've ever seen her on stage.
The entire series of videos from their Hollywood Bowl 2022 performance should shut up all questions about whether they can perform their trickier selections live.

It never fails to impress me when they sing this at any point. It's as impressive now as it was the very first time you hear it.
