don't get K1 media... useless for pond.... it's a fluidized media, will need WAY more for a pond than the little bucket that he used. Better get lava rock instead
K1 isn't a great choice either. It's designed to for moving bed filtration. Like Nexus pond filters or aquarium sumps with airstones. The media needs to be moving constantly to work.
I only cleaned my turtles big filter in dechlorinated water once a year as thr good bacteria did an excellent job keeping the water crystal clear and turtles are the messiest lol
looks like you need to replace the sponges , they look like they have shrunk when they were on the sponge holder , looked to much of a gap at the top ,

That pump should split into two for further cleaning too..

Why not replace the filters with new when they get in this condition?
I am referring to the filter foam inside not the whole filter itself.
