- Just a short video of how my Scandic is set up and what I carry on my sled at all time. This is a 2012 Scandic WT with a 600 Ace. She has 10,000 miles on it now and is ready to retire. I run a fairly long remote line and all this gear is necessary for me as I run alone. Most of you may not need quite as much but should be some helpful ideas for your own set ups. I purchased a new 2021 Expedition LE with the 900 for this season. Just have to set it up now.

Cool video. I have a 2012 Skandic 550F. I built a cedar trapping box behind the seat to keep the weight down and scent right. the box has a built in place for my thermos. I tow a taboggan made in Fairbanks, with a cover for hauling gear, traps, critters, survival gear, InReach etc. I use a shovel made for avalanche safety, fits in my trap box. I have trappers axe and use a .218Bee Thompson Center Contender with a two power pistol scope. Love the skandic

I still have my Scandic WT 600 Ace. It is my back up sled out at the cabin. No complaints but the 900 starts easier in the cold and twice the power.
